Chapter 9

After me and my best friend went our separate ways, I walked to my second hour class.When I got in class I sat in my usual seat & waited for instructions. I had a few friends in the class, but they always came late. I put my book bag on my desk and threw in one of my head phones.

"Alright Class We Are About To Began, that's means phones on learning mode.Today you will be given a packet to read about different types of writing skills as well there are some questions to answer when you are done reading. Any questions, comments, or complaints?"

"Alright  Who Wants To Pass Out The Packets For Me?"

"I will" I yelled , I was sort of teachers pet at times.

"Thank You Zaraiah"

I got up to go get the papers off her desk and began walking around passing them out to every row. I didn't like doing things one by one it would take way too long.

"Here are the left over packets"

( I sat them on her desk in a neat pile)

"Thank you, you may take your seat and began your work"

"Your Welcome, and Well do"

I walked back to my seat, threw one head phone in, then reach down in my backpack to grab out a pencil to start my work. I had to listen to music while I did  my work it helped me stay focus. I turn to my favorite song by Nicki Minaj "All things Go"

"Yo, I had to reinvent, I put the V in vent

I put the heat in vents, man I been competin' since

I look beyond what people sayin', and I see intent

Then I just sit back and decipher, what they really meant

As long as 7 years from now, I'm taking my daughter to preschool

I swear this song give me life, I was just about finished with my work but then I looked up and noticed my crush had enter the room late as usual on a Monday. I just stared at him and listened to his conversation with the teacher.

"Hello sir your late as usual do you have a pass?"

"Don't start its a Monday, & nope I didn't think I would need one because I didn't think I was that late"

"Well next time just grab one anyway sir, here's your work you may take your seat"

"Man Alright"

I always watched him when he came, well shit every girl watched him when he came in. I don't think he ever noticed me though. I never had the guts to speak to him unless I had to. He was so quiet, laid back, intelligent, helpful, & very attractive. We spoke a few times, but I doubt he felt the same way about me.

I watched him walked to his seat, when sat down he glanced back. I got so nervous, I tried to look away quickly, but I think he caught me. Well I don't know I needed to finish  my work anyway. I just wonder will we ever speak more about us rather than work. But the bell was about to ring in a few. So, I got up to walk over to the teachers desk to return my work then walked back to my seat to pack up my belongings.

" Aye You Dropped Your Lip Gloss" Deon said

(My heart dropped)

"Thank You, I didn't even notice"

"No problem sweetheart"

I just sat at my desk breathing heavy and smiling hard as if I just had my first kiss. I just sat there all happy inside and waiting for the bell to ring. He called me sweetheart, I mean he was always nice to me but he never gave me nick name

Well the bell was about to ring in one minute so I got ready to head towards the door. I knew this was going to be on my mind all day. So I turned my music on, and threw my head phones in asap, to try to think about school more.
