Prologue

She knew it was the end.

Yet she chose to defy it.

The force damned Star Hawk had long since dropped her hold on her but it wouldn't change a thing. Her Ion engines had all but failed and her repulsorlifts were failing one by one in the battle against the planet's own gravity well.

The battle above had gone well, they were actually gaining the upper hand in fact! She was ripping apart New Republic scum one by one and had taken utter glee at the sight everytime one succumbed to her turbolasers. But everything went wrong when one of her escorts, the Star Destroyer Punisher, had panicked and rammed one of those Star Hawks, The Amity if she remembered.

Her remaining escorts hastily tried to cover the hole in the defense but everytime a New Republic warship would attack somewhere else, taking the attention of her escorts elsewhere. She managed however since any enemy vessel that tried to get in would be obliterated from her and her escorts turbolasers and ion cannons

Then came that one. It was a Star Hawk as well, one of the few that came in the battle, there was nothing special about her, the same armaments, same paintjob, nothing distinguishing her from her own sisters. But the thing that made her remember her was the thing she did and she had the moment ingrained in her own mind down to this  very moment.

The New Republic vessel charged towards her, alone.

Was she an idiot? No matter how strong they were from the few rumours that floated around she was still a dreadnought, one designed to take on entire fleets and win! So she had a but of pleasure in tearing the smaller ship apart, slowly but steadily destroying the defences. And then she targetted her with her weapon, an oversized tractor beam. It slightly lurched her to the side suddenly but it was of no consequence to her as her stronger engines barely felt a thing.

Then it happened.

In her arrogance she didn't realize the fighters that snuck behind her and before she could obliterate the fools it was too late. X-wings, B-wings, CR90 Corvettes all participated and broke her engines.

The fighters disabled her engines one by one. Each one destroyed resulted in her getting pulled even more vigorously due to nothing counter-acting the pull of the oversized tractor beam.

The Star Hawk finally broke through the onslaught of turbolasers targetted towards her, plummeting down towards the desert planet.

Taking her with her.

Her crew tried everything, diverting power to the repulsors, trying to reactivate the ion engines, even trying to shoot down the Star Hawk with no success.

Many officers went out through the escape pods, plummeting down below towards the harsh desert planet's surface, their fate unknown. Some died during the pull towards the planet, their heads cracking like meaty eggs from the sudden pull. Others were stuck from pieces of metal, hardware or anything that was unfortunate enough to break apart. And a few who still tried their best to slow the descent, with little success.

It was a sad sight.

There was hundreds or so kilometers left till impact, her bow a fiery orange from the heat of atmospheric entry. Looking more like one of the many meteors that occasionally slammed onto the sands of Jakku. It was utterly demeaning, to be reduced to something like this.

At first she was ranting, screaming, being in denial that this was her absolute end. Not from a glorious slugfest, but crashing down like some common meteor. Then there was acceptance, and resignation her screams of denial turning to silence, instead watching the other unfortunate ships who share her fate, finding even some of her escorts plummeting with her to their demise.

During that time she got her would-be killer's name.

The Concord.

It would be the name she would remember in her limited time left.

In the end they both fulfilled their roles as warships. To be birthed from shipyards, getting commissioned to service, then succumbing to war or waiting out their days till the scrappers would break them apart.

Ravager sighed as the sandy surface became bigger and bigger. The desperate screams of the officers still stuck inside her being nothing more than a background noise. The spirit of Ravager then closed her eyes one last time.

Or so she thought.

Because if she opened it again right now, she would be face to face to a strange tear in reality.

The Dreadnought's bow came in contact with the tear and a bright light emerged from the point of contact, surprising many on the ground and from above.

Then, nothing.

The Dreadnought ultimately disappearing, leaving nothing behind. Leaving many historians confused for generations to come.

AN: So.. how'd I do?

Uh, so yeah, welcome to my new story. It's a crossover as you can see! I just had this idea nagging through my head so I said, "Screw it." and started writing. I think I did pretty ok on Spirit!Ravager's personality. Also, I think I remember that she flipped on her belly on some point during her crashing. Uh, so yeah. Hope you enjoy :D

Oh! If you guys think I did anything wrong, criticism is appreciated. Cuz I'm not exactly knowledgeable on things involving military.

EXTRA SCENE

"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" An irate Observer Alpha screamed as she swung the battleship's head around.

"I-I'm so-o-o-ryyyyyy..!" Purifier, turned slightly green, something supposedly impossible when your head is detached from your body but hey, they are aliens.

Tester Beta snickered at the sight, Observer Zero sighed, massaging her temple, trying to find out a way to stop the smaller Siren before she accidentally breaks more equipment.

Arbiter: The Empress III, quirked a smile of amusement on the other's suffering.

Arbiter: Temperance XIV stared blankly at the scene, "When can I get my peace and quiet?"
