Hey guys. So I just felt like this song would fit the mood bc it is about Y/N not going to be able to see Noah for a long time. I know the song is originally about something else, but I feel like it kind of sets the mood. So, you don't have to listen to it if you don't want to.

I walked to the front porch, Noah's car long gone. I felt like goo trying to move up stairs. I pulled out my keys and opened the door, trying not to make too much noise.

But, all my family was sitting downstairs on the couch. I looked at the clock. It was almost 11 P.M.

I set Noah's coat down on the jacket rack, realizing that I forgot to give it back.

Shit. Now, this is going to make me miss him more. I picked it up and hugged it close to me, carrying up the stairs.

It smelled just like Noah. Vanilla and spices.

I went into my room, trembling enough to fall down. I closed the door and sat on my bed, tears streaming down my face.

I heard a knock on my door.

I wiped my face, but there was no point.

"Come in."

Amy walked in and sat on my bed.

"What happened? Why are you crying?" she asked, hugging me close to her.

"Well, do you want to know everything?" I asked.

"Girl, why are you even asking? Hell yeah!" she said.

"Well. Okay, here we go."

I told her everything, from the main events to the way my gut pulled me when I had to leave Noah.

"Wait, y'all are dating now?" she asked as soon as I told her about the picnic.

I nodded.

"Awww, how cute. Listen, he is your boyfriend. Just because he lives in another state doesn't mean you won't be happy or satisfied. You and I live in different states. We still talk all the time, right?" she asked.

I nodded.

"Exactly. He still thinks of you and you still think of him. Easy peasy."

I sighed. "Easy peasy."

"Anyways, do you have a college picked out?" she asked.

I nodded. "My dream college. Stanford."

I am a great student. 4.0 GPA, all A's since middle school, and I'm in many extracurricular activities.

"Ah, Stanford. We'll be in the same college then! You can come live in my apartment with me."

"Yeah! That will be awesome."

''So, you're staying all summer before you head back to your place, right Amy?" I asked.

"Yeah. I'll take you with me. Your mom would kill me if I didn't."

I laughed.

"Yeah, she would."

And just then, I felt like I was given closure. It felt like less of an open relationship, and more like a tight one.

And it felt pretty damn good.
