Part 4

Thirteen years later

(Kates POV)

Thirteen years have now passed since our dearest Madeleine disappeared. Thirteen years of a desprate searching and a really big hole in our hearts have formed. Thirteen times have we celabrated her birthday and otyher celebrations without her. Everyday has been awful, never knowing if we will ever see her again. Never knowing if she is alive or dead. If only I had been told that she was alive, then everything might have felt a bit better. But I am not alone to living in uncertainity . We try as hard as we can to have a normal life, but the uncertainity about what happened to Madeleine is haunting us everyday. But we will never stop believing that we will find her. Because we will find Madeleine.

(Kidnappers POV)

Thirteen years have passed, during thirteen years I have had Madeleine with me and it has been absolutley wonderful. Imagine that no one has taken her away from me during all this time. After I took her, she was on almost every news broadcasts for several months. And pictures with her were seen almost everywhere you went. Imagine it could start such a big thing, but still no one has found her. Little sweet Madeleine has grown up here with me and now sha has become a beautiful and independent young woman, with her whole life waiting ahead. Maybe she'll learns the truth about her parents and the she'll might find them. And of course she will learn that I took her away form her parents, but I hope she doesn't hate me for that. After all, I have taken good care of her during these years. I mean, she could have been taken by someone worse than me.
