The night after that awkward dream was normal. I work hard, Meli was always groping me. But I didn't mind. Hawk and Elizabeth did though. I would get glances from costumers with flirty eyes. I tried my best to ignore them and Meli really tried his best not to notice. He's letting me serve table more now and I showed up to serve this person in the back.
"Hello welcome, what will you like" he looked up at me.
"Just ale" his voice was deep and interesting. I got what he needed.
"I heard this rumor around town about these flower people." I looked at her curiously.
"What do you mean?"I ask him
"Well it's like a curse and a blessing." How does he know. I sit down across from him.
"Tell me more I'm interested." I say smiling.
"Okay, well they used to be the nicest people anyone has met. About a hundred years ago the we're blessed with finding theses flowers where the able to heal people. They took all of them and used them for themselves." He takes a sip of his ale.
"Some how they were cursed, so when they died the would turn into the a patch of those special flowers." Yes that is true and after that...
"So when the next generation uses these flowers the pain would go to them in the after life. They may have been spared of pain in the mortal realm but in the after life the feel all of it." They are truly terrible people in real life everyone just thought they were nice.
"That's a interesting story."
"But it's not a story." He looks deep in my eyes.
"What do you mean." He looks like he's about to laugh.
"Your one of them am I right." He looks at me as my eyes go wide.
"No... that's just a myth."
"Okay what ever you say, but I know it's a lie, you know I could just tear it out to see if it's true."
"Well if you know that much then you should know that only those people could use those flowers." I say starting to get scared.
"No, you see that's a lie, a lie that your family told to keep other people away. You just need the spell." Wait I didn't even know that.
"What are you going to do kidnap me."
" oh no, not right now anyway, some how the flowers work faster when there's more generations." Wait what.
"So I could wait for that to what should I say, haha fully develop." Huh bitch, this shit ain't making no sense, how he gonna tell me I'm pregnant.
"What do you mean?" I ask nicely
"Oh stop playing nice, your pregnant and when you have that baby it's going to be mine." I was shocked. I'm pregnant. He could be lying. But why would he lie.
"If I am pregnant then I'm not going to let you have my baby." I say bluntly while getting up.
"Have a nice day." I get up, and rush upstairs.
