Doors into the house opened. "Take her to our room. I'm going to check up on my playroom friends." Ripper said and went straight to his second favorite door.
He walked in and saw both cops jump up on their chairs. Paro turned around with puppy eyes. "Can we please get some food? Whatever you say, just little bit of food."
Ripper walked in front of them. "Is she still alive?" They shrugged. He walked to her and picked her up. She tensed up for a moment then woke up. "Good morning," he grunted in her face.
"So will we get to eat, or not?" Paro asked. Jessie nodded and left the room. He walked to the kitchen and grabbed a full bread.
He turned around and nearly bumped into mister Hunt. "I thought you were supposed to let me know that you came back from your trip," he said with voice that indicated his needed to feel like superior.
"Well sorry, but I was gone for few days and I thought that my prisoners would like to get a drink and something to eat. Just because you recruited me doesn't mean I don't have my own work to do," Jessie shrugged and and turned to get a plastic cup.
Josh grabbed his arm tightly and grunted. "My wife and I put you on pedestal. Do you want us to regret that decision?" Jessie chuckled. "Anything funny."
"Yes. You helped me become very good with knifes. Especially the one I have with me. So you should know how quick I am and that I don't like when someone is telling me what to do," Ripper shook Josh's hand and left him there.
He walked back to his playroom. "Look who's back. The little bitch who thinks that he's the best," Veronica laughed.
He knelt down to her. "I know that I'm not the best. After all I'm not supposed to be here, that was not the destiny for this body. But I'm sure as hell that I'm better than you. I would never hurt the person I actually care about. Do you know what you caused? My wife had nightmares because of you," he punched her straight in her empty hurting stomach. He turned around and looked at the officers. "Ready for your meal?"
"Please." They both begged.
He chuckled. "Did you kiss already?" They looked at each other with shock. "Just answer, I'm not going to punch you because of it. I don't mind same sex relationships. It's just not for me," he said. "Whatever. You're going to drink after I splash her just for fun," he let out something like chuckle. He pulled both ends of bread away tearing it apart almost in the middle. "Bon appetit," he smiled and let both of them bite a bit off.
"So they get to eat and I will get shower? You want to torture me, but without food I'll die. I can't be tortured after my death," she looked at him with the most confused face he has ever seen and he saw Bryce's confused face many many times.
He let out small chuckle. "The slow death will do its work without me even moving my finger. Now close you mouth, the pressure can do little less damage then." He warned and pressed the button.
"How long will this last?" Paro whispered to his partner.
Water started spraying right into her face. He waited until she was completely drained and then stopped. "Gentlemen, ready to enter the last phase? Success of all three of us is almost here. Don't fail now. It wouldn't end well for either of you," he smiled and filled the cup for the first time. He let Pascal's hand go and gave him filled cup. He gladly took it.
Paro sighed and looked down. "You heard me, didn't you?"
Ripper knelt down in front of him. "It's good to have questions. You can get more knowledge, but you have to be more careful with what you're asking. This time I will leave it alone, but next time I may not be so generous." He filled the cup and gave it to Pascal again.
He chugged it as if he didn't drink ever before. "So it's just one unknown thing to do and we'll get to go home?"
Ripper laid his finger on Pascal's lips. "Shhhh. No talking. It's not your turn to talk. More water?" He asked as he was filling the cup. Pascal shook his head. "Okay then. Time for your partner to drink a bit."
"Thank you." Paro chugged the water so quickly that he momentarily felt his throat hurt.
Ripper chuckled. "Slow down, cowboy. Do you want to hurt yourself?" He filled the cup again and let the man drink. "Slower, okay?"
Paro nodded and drank. "Thanks." He said once he was done. He was offered one more drink, but he had enough.
Jessie stood up and put the cup aside. He locked everything that was unlocked and stood up in front of them. "In case you want something else speak now, because otherwise I'm leaving to be with my wife and her bodyguard."
"We're good." They said.
Ripper walked over to the traitor. "You can be glad that I'm the only one who is visiting. Especially now, when Libby's back," he whispered to her.
Her eyes shot up. "And you thought of me as back-stabbing person, what will you think of her?" She laughed. "She will do something much worse than me. I just showed you that you are not able to take care of your own wife. What worse can she do?" She laughed earning simple punch that knocked her out.
"God, I wish I could just kill her," Ripper sighed. "Careful. She can say things you may not like or move to her side. But don't forget that she pretty much got you here and keeps you here for so long." He stood up from her body and stood in front of them. "I will come back later, but for now you'll have to stay here on your own." He left.
He went to the room that he missed the most - the one he shared with his wife. He missed the bed where his wife always nuzzled to his side and they slowly drifted off together. He loved spending time with her - she made him feel normal. She always reminded him that he had reason to be right where he was.
He opened the door to their room and walked in. "Hey." She stood up from their bed. "How did it go?"
He walked to her and wrapped his arms around her. "I had worse meetings. Well with the cops at least. But it's okay now."
She smiled and pulled herself closer. "How can you always find something romantic to say even when you come from place like that room." She nuzzled to his side and sighed.
He kissed her head. "Not to sound cheesy, but everything I have and do - that's thanks to you." They let go. "Do you need anything from me? Or anyone else?"
Libby leaned against their doorjamb. "Just kiss already." She chuckled. "You two are cuter than Bryce and Linny." She turned behind the wall because she could see Jessie's look. He didn't like when people weren't following what he said.
He leaned his forehead against hers. "What's it going to be?"
She smiled. "You know, I have this amazing dream that you still weren't able to make into real life - eat lunch with me. You keep working with that minx and cops in your playroom and I am usually alone in here." They heard laugh from behind the wall. "Here you see reaction of normal-ish person."
"We both know that nothing about our lives is anywhere near normal or normal-ish. This body never even experienced anything close to normal. But maybe we'll get there together." He kissed her head. They heard another snore and laughed. "Seems like we have a shipper."
"Not that it's a bad thing," Abia chuckled. "Okay, let's go. I want lunch with my husband." She pushed him to go.
He took her hand. "Anything your heart desires." He said and they left the room. "Oh, before I forget. While I'm with my wife, you're free to do almost whatever you want, but when I leave her side to even go pee, you will be nearby." He pointed at Libby. Abia rolled her eyes and pulled him with her. He chuckled and picked her up. "I'm coming, you little impatient angel."
