I wake up and take a shower and do my morning routine then put on

With just some lashes. I go downstairs and make me and my brother a parfait then I go to his room to take him his.
Y: hey brother I got you a parfait
D: hey thanks y/n love you
He looked nice like he was trying to impress someone and he looked nervous and he didn't call me sister like he always does. Something is off.
Y: hey you ok ?
D: yea it's just I have to tell you something
Y: you can tell me anything
I go sit next to him on his bed
D: ok I'm talking to this girl and we are going on a date today and I'm kinda nervous
