Chapter 43

*Todoroki P.O.V*

You had managed to get Deku to come with the four of you. Finally he was back. You did have to admit, that you missed him.

While heading towards the stairs, you hear feet approach you and Bakugou quickly.

You turn around to see Deku standing behind you.

"What are you doing nerd?"

"Sorry kacchan, Todoroki-kun"

"Wha-"

Before you know it, you and Bakugou are in front of the hill leading up to U.A

Next to you were the pro-heroes including Endeavor and Mr.Aizawa, and all of the students in U.A

But, no deku.

You immediately stand up and look around for Deku again. No sign of him.

"Where's Deku?!"

You look at Bakugou who is standing next to you with wide eyes. The both of you look at U.A.

Within seconds, an explosion goes off, engulfing all of U.A

You and Bakugou immediately collapse to the ground. Both of you knew where Deku was, and the both of you knew what that explosion meant.

You put your head to the ground to hide your tears, while Bakugou just stares at U.A in utter shock.

You hear someone kneel down next to you. Soon after, they slightly embrace you.

You look up and see Endeavor. The first time he was every there for you when you were at a low, was when one of the people you cared about the most dies.

"T-thanks."

Endeavor just nods. You look behind you and see Uraraka crying her eyes out, and Kirishima consoling her while he was slightly crying too.

Everyone else was mostly in shock.

No one expected what had just happened.

*A week later*

"What?"

"Well, Bakugou, Todoroki, I feel like you two should be the first students out of class 1-A to hear the news."

"Whatever."

"Deku's body...."

You and Bakugou look at Mr.Aizawa expecting him to say his body was found.

"Was not found. It is nowhere in the rubble of U.A. So he might be alive, or his body could have exploded from the force of the bomb. However, due to it being known that he could teleport, there is a high chance he is alive."

"..."

You stand up and leave the room. You needed time to process everything.

There could be a chance that Deku is alive, but there could also be a chance of Deku being dead.

How are you suppose to handle that?

If only you had done more, or notice something was different with him sooner, then maybe none of this would have happened.

"Todoroki-kun?"

"Yeah Uraraka?"

"Um, may we come in?"

"Sure."

Uraraka enters the room, and sits down next to you.

"Um, everyone who knew Midoriya is planning on going to the beach tonight and setting off fireworks in honor of Deku. Do you wanna come with us?"

"Why fireworks?"

"Well, I remember how Deku said he saw fireworks one time and fell in love with them. Though he only ever saw them once, I figured it would be a good way to honor him."

"Ok."

"So do you wanna come with us?"

" I will think about it."

"Ok Todoroki-kun."

With that, Uraraka gets up and leaves the room, closing the door behind her. You lay down on you bed and try to think about all the happy times you had with Deku.

*Later that day...*

You had decided to join everyone on the beach. When you get to the beach, you notice Bakugou standing on the sand.

You thought he wouldn't come to something like this, but apparently he did.

You watch as people set off fireworks one after another.

Uraraka taps you on the shoulder and hands you a firework. You set it off, and Bakugou sets one off after you. It continued like that until everyone set a firework off.

Once everyone finishes cleaning up the mess from the fireworks, they all just sit on the beach and watch the sky.

*Authors P.O.V*

Hi! First, I dont own the picture in this chapter! Second, there is one more chapter that will be coming out tomorrow! 

Also, I finally uploaded something to my instagram account! It is a drawing I drew and edited! Though, my sister did decide to do the mini backstory.
