Chapter 38

You had finally finished packing the suitcase! Though, it did only take you about 5 minutes, you were still proud about your accomplishment. 

After celebrating a little, you grab the suitcase and check your pockets to make sure you had your phone and stuff. Once you are sure, you teleport to Washington D.C. Thankfully, no one knew about the League of Villains in the U.S.A, so you didn't have to hide your face there.

You decide to walk around for a while, making sure to stop and take pictures of any sights you found fascinating. After you had 20 pictures, you decide to find a hotel so you can rest for the night. You come across a hotel and go inside.

"Hi! I would like a room for 2 nights, please!"

"Alright. That 166 dollars please."

"What? Why is it that expensive?!"

"Listen sir, we offer free wi-fi, free access to an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, and you get free parking. This hotel's prices are the cheapest compared to other hotels that offer the same exact thing."

".... fine."

"Thank you sir. Here is your keycard. I hope you enjoy your time with us."

You turn and walk away before you do or say something you regret. Though, you just spent most of your money, so you already did something you regret. 

You find your room and go inside. Before you can change into your pajamas, someone knocks on your door. You walk over to the peephole and look through it. On the other side of your door was a man in tattered, holding a beer bottle. 

"Jess! *Hic* L-let me in!"

Either the man was drunk, delusional, or he wanted to mess with you. Every possibility led to you getting mad at him though. After a few minutes, the knocking turns into banging.

"L-let me *Hic* In!"

You walk over to the phone and call the front desk. They tell you that they are sending two security guards over. However, as soon as you hang up the phone, an ax comes through your door.

The man had turned his hand into an ax. That was the first time you had ever seen a quirk like that. The man puts his hand through the door and opens it. You decide to surprise him from behind if he comes inside, which he does. He walks past you, giving you the chance to either kill him or knock him out. 

You hit his pressure point in the center of his neck and he falls to the ground. You didn't want to get in trouble with the law enforcement in the U.S.A that quick after all. Eventually the security guard arrive, and takes you to a new room. 

Once the security guards are gone, you change into your pajamas and lay down for some sleep.

*Todoroki's P.O.V*

"We have to get out of here!"

"And how do you recommend we do that? We can't use our quirks, and even if we did escape, we don't know how to get out of this room."

"Shut up Icy Hot!"

You look around the empty room. Why would Midoriya betray the two of you like that? He wanted to become a hero. He had even managed to get close to that dream, but he decided to throw that all away? No way. Something else had to be going on.

"I should have never stood up for that red-eyed nerd!"

"red-eyed?"
