NISSIN POV
Seeing her lying on the cold bench naked and unresponsive sent a dagger through my heart while Sunny and I ran toward her. The beautiful curly locks that she always complained about stood straightly aligned with the unmoving blue face that now replaced her lively smile. I ran to her and held her in my arms while I screamed her name and cried. For the first time since I had known Sunny, she showed a relentless amount of emotion even going so far as to place her head on my shoulder and cry while her sister lay dying before our eyes.
All I could think about was our future, our love, and Joa. All the past promises that had been made and all the arguments we had. "If I had just come, I could--" I started before feeling a light tickle of cold fingertips against my neck.
The trail of tickles stopped just before it got to my chin before being replaced by a small hand against my cheek. Angling my face down, she slightly raised her body and placed a soft kiss on my chin then raised the corners of her cheeks showing her bloodied smile. "You came for me." She raspily whimpered, moving her hand up and wiping the tears from my face.
"You are my life. Why wouldn't I come?" I cried, caressing her face with her sister still crying on my back.
"I told D--D--t-..let me die alone. I...I c---couldn't bear the th--ought of you s...eeing me like this" She whispered, fading in and out of consciousness.
"DON'T TALK LIKE THAT!! YOU AREN'T DYING!!" Sunny cried louder, scurrying to her sister's side and placing her head on her bloodied torso.
"I am Sunny." Faya quietly rebutted. "Where is the Queen?" She said, opening her eyes frantically and searching around us with a glimmer of happiness in her emerald eyes.
"We plan to take you to the hotel where she and Hoseok are staying. She's badly injured as well according to her father, but we got intercepted before we could see her." I said, motioning out of my brown wool cardigan and placing it over her cold body while I held her close.
"Who knew it could be so cold in summer." Faya chuckled while I looked down at her in endearment.
"Please...I need you" I thought to myself, folding into my wife and crying as hard as I could.
"Do--Lux know?." She whispered, causing both of us to look up into her eyes.
"No, honey. She doesn't. According to Hobi, she hasn't been in the best state since they arrived at the hotel. He's keeping her preoccupied but apparently, the poison is taking over and she doesn't even look like herself anymore." I informed, trying to hold back the tears, trying to fall from my eyes.
"I don't want her to know yet. Let her be with Hobi and when the time comes I want Sunny to tell her."
"TELL HER WHAT?" Sunny screeched, standing up and backing away from her sister and I.
"About my death Sundr--"
"NO! I WON'T! SHE NEEDS TO KNOW NOW, SO SHE CAN BE HERE WITH YOU. SHE CAN HEAL YOU!!!" Sunny cryingly screamed out into the train station. "She can heal you, she can heal you, she can heal you...."She mumbled over and over again before falling to her knees, letting the sadness overwhelm her body.
"Not this time," Faya said, letting a lone bloody tear fall from the corner of her eye. "The poison has been in my system for far too long, "They wanted it like this." She whispered, turning her eyesight from her sister back to me and putting her hand back upon my cheek. "I know it's not home but being here but I quite miss that little house in Seoul. I miss Joa. Please take---"
"As you wish my queen." I interrupted, standing to my feet and gently swinging her around to the back of my body before allowing my body to change to that of a wolf. I walked over to the girl, crying on the floor, and nudged her with my nose, bringing her attention to me. Gesturing for her to get on, she sadly obliged and climbed my back and held her sister close.
