Nice Man With Green Hair

Being a parent is exhausting. Being a single parent is even more exhausting.
Quinn was sat in a coffee shop waiting for her ex to bring there daughter back. While she was scrolling threw cute hair style for her daughter. Her moment was briefly interrupted when she heard her daughters laugh.

"Mommy! This nice man was holding the door for daddy and I and he had GREEN HAIR!" Her daughter told her as they hugged.

"Did you say thank you to the nice man?" Quinn asked while hugging back.

Her daughters eyes got big and a small no escaped her lips. Her daughter quickly looked around before seeing the man in line to get coffee on his phone. She quickly ran to him hugging his leg, shocking him.

"Thank you for holding the door for me, I would have said it but I had to tell my mommy about your super cool green hair!"

"Juniper!" Her mom said shocked

"That's okay little one." Awsten smiled while putting his phone away.

"Are you sure?" Juniper asked and let go of his leg and looked up at him.

He crouched down. "Of course! You were excited and that's okay, you still said thank you didn't you?" He asked

Juniper nodded and smiled.

"I think your mom wants you Darlin'." He said with a smiled

"Okay!" Juniper smiled and ran to her mom.

Quinn picked up her daughter and smiled at green haired man. Causing him to smile sweetly back.

Quinn and her daughter sat down while her ex went to get him some coffee.

"You should talk to the guy with green hair mommy, Hes nice!"

"Oh sweets, I dont think mommy should, He seems to be busy." Quinn smiled

"Okayyyy." Juniper said sadly

"awe-sten" the barista joked.

"Thank you!" Awsten smiled while grabbing his drink, " have a good day."

Juniper waved at him as he left and he waved back

On the way home Juniper stared out her moms car window.

"Mommy?"

"Yes June?"

"Why didnt you want to talk to Awe-sten?" Juniper asked and looked at her mom

"Who?" Her mom asked and looked at her little one in the rearview mirror.

"Awe-sten. The nice man with green hair."

"Oh, mommy didnt want to bother him. We are strangers." Quinn answered

As soon as they got home Juniper ran and grabbed her tablet.

"What's are you up to?" Quinn laughed

"Nothing!" Her daughter said while going to her room.

Quinn started to pick up her daughter's toys and getting lunch ready.

"Juniper! Lunch is ready!" Quinn called

Juniper came into the room and showed her mom her tablet.

"Mommy look!" Juniper said happily

Quinn looked and saw the man in the cafe all over her daughters tablet. She grabbed the tables and saw he was a musical artist.

"Isn't that cool!" Her daughter said happily

"It is." Quinn answered.

"We should find him again!"

"First you should eat your mac and cheese."
