Pink Heart Glasses

Quinn was getting ready for her daughters first day of school. They bought all the school supply's, they got her lunch ready the night before they even set out a cute outfit. Quinn was afraid her daughter would throw a fit so it was a couple hours before they actually had to be in the car ready to go. Quinn woke up her daughter but Juniper refused.

"Please Juniper open the door." Quinn asked

"No!"

"Why?"

"I want to be home!"

"You cant. You need to learn!" Quinn explained

"I dont want to! What if they make fun of my sunglasses?"

Quinn groaned, "they wont! They are six years old like you! They probably have sunglasses like yours!"

Juniper stayed quite.

"What will make you go to school?" Quinn asked desperately

"Awsten."

"What?" Quinn asked hopeing she wouldnt have to call awsten over.

Sure Quinn and Awsten texted a bit and got to know eachother. Juniper somtimes forceing her to video call with him so Juniper could show him her stuffed animals, but she didnt want to have to wish her daughter off to kindergarten with her Ex AND Awsten.

"Awsten I want, Awsten here."

"Why?"

"I will only come out of my room if Awsten is here."

Quinn got up and called Awsten in the kitchen.

"Please pick up, please pick up" Quinn murmured to herself.

Quinn saw her daughter peek around the corner and dropped her phone to get her but a slam of a door to her face told her other wise.
Quinn went back to her phone and saw Awsten did answer. She quickly picked it up.

"Quinn? You there? " She heard a tired Awsten say.

"Oh Awsten sorry to call you so early and then leave you hanging." Quinn sighed

"Its okay, what up? Does Juniper want me to talk to Lily the bunny again?" He laughed tiredly

Quinn's heart melted. "Sadly it's not that. She wants to.." Quinn stopped

Is she really going to let her six year old win?

"What does she want?" She heard Awsten ask softly

"She wants you to come over and see her off on her first day of kindergarten." Quinn sighed, "shes really nervous and is afriad the kids will make fun of her for her heart sunglasses and refuses to leave her room untill you come over." Quinn said quickly afterwards.

She heard Awsten tirdly laugh, "what style are the sunglasses I might have the same ones."

Quinn felt a weight lift off her shoulders "here let me video call you and show you." Quinn said and put Awsten on speaker.

"Be warned I just woke up." Awsten yawned

"That's okay. I'm sure you look fine." Quinn laughed and hit the video call button.

She set up her phone on her blender and grabbed her daughters sunglasses. When she returned she saw a messy haired Awsten.

"Good morning sleepy head." She smiled

"Very funny. Sorry that I dont look that awake for the world at 7am." Awsten teased, "now what sun glasses?"

Quinn showed Awsten and jokeingly put them on.
