8 Ninja Puppets (Sasori love story)(Naruto Shippuden)

It was a long time ago, back when he lived in the sand village. Back when he hated almost everything. I'd like to think we were best friends... maybe even closer. After all I lost my parents the same way he did, but... I could never become a ninja. Especially when he swore to protect me. It all started when I was seven, I was staying up past curfew, getting myself into trouble and even starting fights I knew I couldn't win. One time it got so bad I ended up in the hospital, and I paused and looked seeing Chiyo walk in glaring at me. "Ai again" she said, as I lowered my head and paused as a boy with red hair held my hand. "You should be more careful" he said, as I smiled looking at him. As years went by I was now around in my twenties and I somehow ended up as a hostage in order for them to kill the boy with red hair, who grew up as a man named Sasori. Luckily for me Sasori saved me, but I lost my legs. Sasori made me new ones while I was at the hospital and he attached them to my body in order for me to walk. "Thanks Sasori... sorry I got you into trouble again" I said, as he narrowed his eyes. "If anyone has been in trouble it's you" he said, as I lowered my head. "But forget it, we should celebrate" he said, as I paused and smiled. "Yes" I said, as he helped me learned to walk and we went to his room and I paused seeing puppets everywhere. I sat down on his bed and he closed the door and I looked at him sitting at his desk. "How are your legs?" he asked, as I smiled. "Great thanks to you" I said, as he cupped my face and I blushed looking at him. He kissed my lips and I blushed kissing him back. "I love you Ai" he said, as I smiled and hugged him. "I love you too Sasori" I said, as he smiled. However just when I thought things were getting better they got worse Sasori was distant. I watched over him, but he wouldn't let me come close after that. I didn't think anything of it... after all it was Sasori, and when Christmas Eve came I knocked on Sasori's door and he opened it looking at me. I smiled and gave him a box. "Merry Christmas Sasori" I said, as he looked down at it taking it in his hands. "Ai" he said, as I smiled. "I know, but you've been distant lately and I wanted to make sure you were ok" I said, as he looked down at it. "It's nothing special... just the puppet you saw at the store" I said, as he nodded. I smiled and walked away back to my lonely house. I sat at the porch looking at the moon and looked at the clock it was now midnight and Christmas day. I then paused as Sasori walked up to me. "Merry Christmas Ai" he said, as I smiled. "I thought" I was about to say, as he kissed my lips and I kissed him back. "Ai... your the only one that truly appreciated me... but I can't stay here any longer" he said, as I lowered my head. "I know" I said, as he kissed me again. "You know I love you Ai... but I have to go" he said, as I nodded and watched him walk out of my life. That was years ago and now at the age of 35 I sit on my porch and poured myself a glass of wine. I lift up my glass towards the moon and smiled sadly. "Merry Christmas Sasori" I said drinking my glass.
