You snapped out of it when shouts were heard beneath you.
You pushed Harry away and ran a hand through your hair. "I can never get peace and quiet here. Harry as my assistant/bodyguard, remind me to soundproof this room. Wait, does that prevent sounds from coming in or out....either way remind me."
Harry sat with his legs and arms spread open on the loveseat. "Soundproof is a great idea, love. I know we'll be needing it."
You were so focused on getting ready, that you didn't notice the obvious innuendo in Harry's words. "Mm, maybe I'll put it in the dungeon, that's where the screams are. Even though I told them to shut the motherfucking fuck up. Those little shits." You adjusted your shirt and your sword in its sheath. "I can finally get rid if the weaklings and get some entertainment at the Grand Arena."
Harry licked his lips, his leg bouncing up and down. There was another comment he could make about screams, but you didn't seem all that present. Usually he'd get some reaction out of you. Now it felt like back before when you had him locked up.
He was nervous. He didn't want to admit it, but he was. You might get tired of him, might decide he's not worth your time and send him in the Grand Arena to fight.
He was a great fighter, he had no worries there, but he didn't want to lose what he only just gained.
He wasn't insecure about his looks in the slightest, buuuut there were some handsome looking guys you had locked up in the cells. (M/n) excluded. That little bastard...
What if you decided to exchange him out for some other pirate? No. He wouldn't have that. He'd please you in every aspect. He'd be perfect for you. And if he has to step on some pests along the way, he wasn't against it.
Immediately after deciding he was going to be the perfect man for you, he was at your side in seconds. His arm wrapped around your waist and pulled you into his side.
The pirate opened the door for you and led you out of your room. You looked at him with a small smile but confusion in your eyes. What was happening? You weren't sure, but you didn't mind him by your side. He would be great company when you go below deck to the dungeon.
"Louis! What is all the commotion about?" You asked the skeleton on the way down.
"Just the usual pirates starting fights.." Louis let out a sigh, ribs expanding and then inflating.
"They're going to kill each other before the others can. I tried saving cell space, but I guess we'll have to seperate some of them." You finally made it to the dungeon doors and Louis unlocked them with a set of keys. "Harry, you made me sweat, you're a good fighter. Figure out the best fighters among these men and bring them to me. Louis and a few others of my crew will be with you. I need the best warriors, obedient little prisoners are a plus as well." You waved him off with Louis and went back to your captain duties.
Harry observed the men in the cells. He made a show of pacing in front of each man and giving a thorough scan with his eyes. He stopped in front of a prisoner. The prisoner was lean and muscular, he gave a 'don't mess with me vibe'. His hands were calloused from being used and the way he sat was like a man carrying a sword in its sheath. Habits that sword wielders could never escape, most blade master could pick out another, so it wasn't too hard for him to figure it out.
