Maihua Lee Fanfic - Till Death Do Us Part [Completed]

C h a p t e r N i n e

I sit there, looking out the window of the cafe. It's only 9:56am and I had only woke up about an hour ago but I feel like I've been sat here for ages. I go up to the counter to get a biscuit and tea. While I was in the cue I saw a poster on the back wall.

My eyes immediately drew to it as I started to get exited. I mean, I've always loved singing and I'm actually good too. I could sign up, I might not win anything but I could just do it for a bit of fun anyway. "Excuse me miss" the person on the counter asks as I was now at the front of the line "Oh, sorry, I'm- so so sorry. Umm- is that- that poster old??"
"Not at all, it's only just gone up yesterday."
"oh- um- Thank you. And uh- I'll just have a Tea for table number 4." I say as they type it up and I take a look at the biscuits and decide to get a small packet of shortbread. I take it from the shelf and place it on the counter. "And one of these too."
"Okay, no problem. That'll be $4.50."
I take a 5 dollar note and then tell her to keep the change and then head over to where the poster is. I take my phone out and angle it correctly to take a picture. I then send it to Maihua with the caption 'so are you gonna come and watch me?'. She doesn't reply just yet so I head over to my table and take a seat. "Here you are." A waiter says while placing a small tray with a teapot, sugar and a small cup of milk on the table. "Thank you." I say with a simple smile. As I make my Tea I think about this talent thing, I mean, it could actually be a start for something. I have always wanted to be an actress and singer. A notification comes up and it's Maihua.
~I would love to come baby. ~ She sent as I just took a moment to admire how amazing she is while staring at her her message. I then reply to her saying ~ Should I actually do it tho, I'm kinda nervous but it would also be a bit of fun and who else would I bring with?? Do you think Gaonha would like to come as well? ~ I send it as I actually think about doing it and what song I would sing but I get distracted as she replies back to me ~ I think Gaonha would absolutely love to come along!! You should ask her tho she might be busy ~ I smile and then reply back ~ Oki, I'll ask her now then. ~

I arrive back at the condo and walk inside to see Maihua in the kitchen, sat on a stool, as she looks at her phone. "What's that baby?" I ask as she just replied with "Nothing, don't worry about it beautiful." Which makes me frown. I almost thought she might be hiding something from me. Maybe she is. "Wha- what do you mean?"
"Hey it's okay, you're the only one I love." She says as she walks passed me, kissing my cheek. "Okay, sure." I say before I then go to the fridge to get myself a drink.

I go to bed that night, thinking about the poster. What if I could actually make something of this and what song should I even sing?? Thoughts rush into my head and I remember a song from a while back. I played it in my head, pretending to be in the front of a massive audience at a big very crowded bar. As I had my eyes closed I wondered off into my dream world. Still at the bar. Still singing. And I dreamt of her. Maihua, I mean. Only, she wasn't looking at me singing, instead she was looking at Invidia, holding her around her waist and flickering her sight between Invidias eyes and Invidias lips. And I had lost it. I stopped in my tracks while the audience glared at me. I dropped the microphone and headed towards Maihua. As I approached she looked me dead in the eye and harshly said "What do you want?" In a careless tone. As if she didn't even know me. Before I had the chance to say or do anything I had just floated away and my eyes felt dry as I could see the ceiling. My phone glared up in brightness as my eyes squinted in reaction. I looked at the time. 8:01 am. I let out a sigh and looked over to Maihua peacefully sleeping on her mattress. "Maihua" I whispered, "uuuhhuuu" she replied with, half awake "Do- do you have feelings for Invidia?" I said to her. She is silent for a bit but it's definitely caught her attention and woke her a bit more. She turns over to face me and leans her head up against her hand. "What makes you say that?"
"I just- I, I fee- nevermind, it doesn't matter." I say as I get up, heading for the bathroom. "No wait, y/n! What's this about, where's it coming from." She then says, going after me. But I've already locked the door of the bathroom so she can't get in. I look at Invidias insta account. Getting a little jealous. I feel as if her and Maihua have something that perhaps I don't. I scroll and scroll. My thumb going up and down along the screen until something catches my eye. It just a photo of Invidia posing and in a cute outfit but that isn't what gets my attention. It Maihuas comment on it. "You look beautiful baby!! Absolutely gorgeous, I love you!" I look at the date. It was only a month before I ran away. Maihua and Invidia used to be a thing?? Maihua never told me about this. She had feelings for Invidia and never told me anything?? Does she still have feelings for her now??

Hello, so as I had mentioned before, I don't know if I'm going to carry on with this story. This chapter I have had written for some time now but hadn't finished it cos I was really struggling with what to write and I am also a bit overwhelmed with all my schoolwork and homework atm too. I have finished writing this chapter off anyway and do you guys want me to finish the story off. If I do tho, I'll finish it either in the next chapter or the one after so it's a completed story. Please let me know because if nobody is bothered for an ending than I won't write one.
