"England?" I said in shock.
"I know! I'm being adopted and that's where the new family lives.." My best friend in the whole world Ana-Marie said to me.
"When do you leave?" I responded almost in tears. England is a LONG ways away from Nebraska..
"2 weeks," she replied.
That was about 2 years ago. The summer after Sophomore year in high school to be exact. I've lived a whole entire 2 years without my best friend and let me tell ya, it has NOT been easy!
But let me back up for a second. I haven't even introduced myself! I'm Allison Jay Daytona! But you can call me AJ! And in two weeks not only will I be a high school graduate, but I'm going to be with Ana all summer down at her house! I'm beyond excited!
Now that I've properly introduced myself, it's time for school! And it's a Friday! My friend Johanna is spending the night tonight and I'm so excited!
I got to school that morning and was immediately greeted by Johanna and my boyfriend James. James and I had been dating for a year now!
"Hey babe!" James greeted me with a quick kiss, "Plans for the summer?"
"I'm going to England to stay with Ana for the whole summer!" I quickly responded.
"The WHOLE summer?" Johanna said kind of whining.
"Oh don't worry, I'll DEFINITELY Skype you a TON when I'm there! And yes, you too James," I said looking over at James who looked jokingly offended when I offered to Skype Johanna.
"You better!" James smiled his sexy little half smile.
Just then the bell rang for first block. 7 hours and Johanna and I would be at my house chillin and blasting One Direction music!
Did I mention we may be totally in love with them? I mean, they're amazing!
