Lynx's PoV <3
AJ slammed her phone down on the table. "I'll be back," she said before storming off.
I got up and followed her. "AJ?" I asked entering the bathroom.
She looked up at me. "Hey Ana," she murmured.
"What's going on hun?" I asked.
"It's nothing Ana," she said trying to smile.
"Alison Jay Daytona! It's not nothing. Your slamming your phone down. I know you were crying last night. What's going on?" I demanded.
She looked at me shocked. Probably because I used her full name. "Ana. Wow. Didn't know you had a temper too," she said.
"Well, I'm worried about my best friend!" I exclaimed.
She sighed and looked at me. "Well, Johanna texted me last night. Sent a picture too. James was cheating on me with Casey. So I broke up with him and now he's been texting me begging for me to forgive him," she said.
I looked at her. Anger filling me. I knew my eyes were probably a midnight blue by know. "Casey. As in our friend Casey?" I asked.
She nodded. "That little-" AJ put her hand over my mouth.
"I agree. She is one, but Ana no need for that language!" AJ exclaimed.
She removed her hand and I continued. "And James! How could he do that? Ugh! Seriously. He's just a total-" again AJ's hand went over my mouth.
"Sorry," I muttered when she removed it again.
She smiled at me. I looked in the mirror. My eyes were dark. "AJ are you okay enough to go back out there," I asked.
She nodded. "What about you? Your eyes. They'll know something's up. Only Liam would know what though," she trailed off at the end.
"What? You told Liam before me?" I asked a little hurt at that.
"Ana. I'm sorry. It was last night when he came out. I was upset and told him," she said.
"It's fine AJ. Let's get back to the boys, yeah?" I said.
She nodded and we walked back to the table. We took our seats and Harry's hand immediately found it's way in mine. I calmed down a bit at his touch. Looking over at him, I smiled.
I looked over at AJ next and saw she was happier than she was earlier this morning. Niall was right. Nandos would cheer her up. I looked down at my food and thought.
I just can't believe James would do something like that. Especially to someone as sweet as AJ. And Casey. I can't believe our sweet best friend would do that either. I'm just glad AJ has Johanna as a friend.
Then it hit me. I haven't been a very good friend to AJ these past two years. That was going to change this summer. I was going to go back to being like I was two years ago. I miss that relationship AJ and I had.
