"Told you I was undefeated!" I said as I crossed the finish line before her.
"Good game, AJ!" Ana said.
"You too!" I replied.
"Wow, 8 already?" Louis asked.
"We played for 5 hours?" Zayn asked shocked.
"Yup!" I replied.
"Movies?" Niall asked excitedly.
"What else is there to watch? We finished Harry Potter!" Harry added.
"Well... We could always watch them again!" I stated.
"You can never get too much Harry Potter!" Niall said.
"What do you think, guys?" I asked.
"I don't care," Ana said.
"Me either," Harry chipped in.
"Let's do it!" Niall said running upstairs.
"Sounds good!" I stated.
We all ran up stairs and piled into Ana's room.
I put in the movie and sat in between Liam and Zayn on the floor.
"I love this movie!" Niall exclaimed.
"Me too!" I looked back at him.
He was sitting on Ana's bed with Louis, while Harry and Ana were in her beanbag like usual.
I leaned my head over on Liam's shoulder and I saw him smile. That made me smile.
Just then my phone buzzed. One text from Johanna.
"AJ, bad news"
"What's wrong Jo?"
"You know Casey, right?"
"Of course! She's been my best friend for like ever!"
"Not for long"
"What are you talking about?"
"James has been cheating on you with Casey... I'm sory Hun"
"What?"
My heart sank. I literally felt it break.
One new picture message
I opened the message and saw James and Casey kissing.
"I went over there and walked in on this.."
I dropped my phone.
"AJ? You ok?" Liam asked.
I grabbed my home and ran out to the porch.
I quickly dialed James's number.
"Hey babe!" He answered.
"Don't you 'hey babe' me!"
"What?" He sounded confused.
"You and and Casey? Really? My best friend you jerk!"
"AJ.. Calm down, whatever you heard, it's not true! I swear!" He said.
"There was a picture!" I screamed.
"AJ please.."
"No, James! That's it! We're done!"
"Don't do this," He pleaded.
"I'm not dealing with this. We're done! Completely over! Goodbye James!" I hung up the phone.
The anger quickly melted into tears. I dropped to my knees and then leaned back and sat down. I pulled my knees to my chest and rested my head on my knees.
"AJ?" A voice said.
I looked up and saw Liam standing there on the porch.
"Oh.. Hi Liam.." I said laying my head back down.
"Are you ok?" He asked.
I lost it. I started crying hard again.
"James was cheating on me.. With my best friend even!"
"Are you serious? Liam sat down next to me.
I nodded. Not being able to speak.
He wrapped his arms around me and just held me.
After a little while, I looked up at him after I stopped crying.
"Thanks Liam," I said.
"No problem," He smiled.
In that moment I swore time froze. We locked eyes.
In that moment he started leaning in.
Then we kissed.
