"Well, did you find out the gender?" Jesse asks me as soon as Ezra and I return back to the house.

"No, we decided to wait," I say, and I have to fight the grin that's creeping its way onto my face.

"Are we going to have to wait until the baby is born?" Jesse whines, sounding like a little boy.

"Maybe. Maybe not," I tease him. "Now I see where Leon gets his whining from." I wink at Jesse, and he sticks his tongue out behind me.

Ezra chuckles behind me. "Speaking of the twins, are you picking them up today?"

"Yes, they've been with their dad for the last few days. I can't wait to see them."

"What time are you picking them up?" Jesse asks.

"I actually need to leave here soon. I want to spend some time with them tonight before they go back to school tomorrow," I say. I place a hand on my belly, and my little peanut kicks me. I smile softly.

"I'm probably going to stay at Ronny's tonight," Jesse says. He grabs the remote, turning the television down some. "Unless you want me to stay here."

"Go to Ronny's. I'll be fine," I say. "And let him know I say hello."

Jesse nods, with a small smile on his face. I walk into my bedroom, and I kick my shoes off, with one flying in the closet and the other flying on the other side of the bed.

"You alright?" Ezra asks.

"Those shoes aren't comfortable," I frown. I grab my slippers, sliding them on my feet. "Much better," I say, smiling.

Ezra chuckles, and he pulls me in close, kissing my forehead. "Are you ready to leave?" he asks.

"Yeah, we can," I say.

Ezra takes my hand, and I follow him out of the bedroom. "We'll be back!" I shout, unaware where Jesse went. We wait for a response, but we head out the door moments later when we don't hear anything.

Ezra opens the passenger door for me, and he kisses my cheek when I settle in. "Thank you," I say, a smile on my face.

Ezra gets into the driver's side. "So, I didn't know how you'd feel, but can I stay with you tonight?" he asks. "I know the kids are here, and it might be confusing for them, but-"

I laugh, and Ezra stops talking. "Yes, of course, you can stay here."

He starts his truck, and his hand finds mine as we leave the driveway. "I was hoping you'd say that," he smirks. He moves his hand down to my belly, and our little peanut kicks him almost the whole way to Ricky's.

"He's excited," I grin, stepping out of the truck.

"I'm glad he gets that feeling around me," Ezra says.

We walk up to Ricky's door, and Leon throws the door open before we can knock. "Mommy!" he yells, and I scoop him up for a hug.

"Did you miss me?" I ask.

"Of course!" he says. "How's my brother?" Leon looks at my belly.

"Your brother?" I ask, laughing.

"You mean our sister?" Chloe asks, standing in the doorway with Ricky.

I set Leon down, and I scoop Chloe up immediately after. "We got to see the baby today," I tell them.

"Is he ok?" Leon asks.

"You mean she?" Chloe butts in.

I laugh. "Yes, the baby is fine."
