I groaned loudly as I lay on the ground beside the scattered limbs. I was so embarrassed, but even more so, I was pissed at whoever was coming in at this time.
Before I could get up and start yelling, I locked eyes with a really tall, and kind of attractive, guy.
"Must've been quite a fall." He said, a small smile on his lips as his hand reached for mine. I took hold of it, standing up and gaining my balance while my cheeks flushed with shame and anger.
"It was your coming in that almost killed me." I answered quickly, brushing the back of my jeans off and fixing my shirt.
His expression became more humoured and his eyes scanned the mess of mannequin on the floor, "At least you not dead. Can't say the same for your friend here..."
I rolled my eyes in response to his snarky remark, picking up the pieces and putting it back together. It'd only been a good 30 seconds and I already didn't like him. When I finally pieced it together, I sighed in relief, and faced the guy again.
He was wearing the most corny, amused grin, which made me even more annoyed.
"You should go find what you want. We're supposed to be closing." I said matter a factly while heading towards the front desk.
"I don't have to," He answered, following me. "I already know what I want, and I'm looking right at it."
He had a cocky tone, which mixed well with his Australian accent. I would normally fall head over heels for a guy with an accent, but this really wasn't a good time to get interested in a stranger. Especially when the stranger was a cocky ass flirt.
"How well do you fit in a bag?"
Now he'd done it.
I scoffed and placed my hand on the employee phone. I glared at the bum, who stood inches away from me.
"I can either call the police and get your ass dragged out of here in handcuffs, or you can peacefully leave."
He still had a cocky smirk on his face.
I raised my eyebrows and started dialing 911. His expression changed into something more serious, but his obnoxious grin stayed.
"No compliments...got it."
