Also I was waiting for a good time to point out that Chara still has some ghostly abilities and magic knives so... There we go.

Chara's pov

I was about to ask what Sans and Papyrus were doing here when I noticed that (Y/n) had their hands over their ears. I immediately focused my priorities on them, "What's wrong (Y/n)?

They replied, "He's too loud! Sans, do something about your brother. Please!"

Frisk's pov

I hear Papyrus before I see him and as I entered the living room I saw what could have been the beginning of a fight between Sans and Chara. I knew that if I hesitated, someone would end up dead.

"Before any of you rip one another heads off, lets relax and explain what is going on." Everyone looked at me and Chara grumble but sat down. "Okay, so why is (Y/n) covering their ears?"

"Because Papyrus always speaks like he's yelling and (Y/n)'s ears are sensitive." Chara said though she still looked like she was going to slit someone's throat.

"Papyrus, can you try not to be so loud while you're around (Y/n)?" I asked. "I'LL TR--" (Y/n) put their hands back over their ears. "I mean I'll try"

"Also Sans, I need to tell you something," I walk over and whispered to Sans loud enough for Chara and (Y/n) to hear, "The two of them are kinda crushing of each other, so go easy on Chara when she gets protective."

After hearing that Sans laughed harder than I had ever heard him laugh before, "the brat has a crush! that's the funniest thing i've heard all week! alright kid, i'll go easy on her."

(Y/n) pov

"Where did you two even come from? I doubt the saying 'skeletons in my closet' can be applied here."

Sans chuckled, "My brother took a shortcut and I ran here from Snowdin"

"What shortcut? He appeared here out of nowhere. There is no wa--" I started, but Chara interrupted me "Don't think about it. Let's go." She grabbed my hand and dragged me down the stairs.

"Where are we going?" I asked blushing at how Chara grabbed me. "Away from Frisk!" She mumbled

We went through a giant pair of doors and came into a forest filled with snow. "How is this possible?" Chara didn't respond. "Are you okay Chara?"

"Oh, sorry. I was just thinking." She looked nervous, so I wrap my arms around her and she panics. "What are you doing?!" She asked blushing.

I don't look her in the eyes because I don't want her to see me blushing, "You looked like you were on edge, so I wanted to help you." I say under my breath.

Chara's pov

Why can't I stop blushing! "As nice as this is, can you please let go?" I feel them hesitate but they let go. Just as I was going to continue walking (Y/n) runs in front of me holding a chocolate bar in their mouth. I reach to grab it but they spin out of the way.

"Oh, you want this?" They said taunting me, "You'll have to catch me!" Then they take off. I rolled my eyes, but chased after them.

We run all the way to Snowdin and as I was catching up to them, they climbed up to the Librarby's roof and sat there taking a bite out of the bar.

"I guess I'll just eat this seeing as you don't want it." They said mockingly. So I did the reasonable thing... I flew up there and snatched it out of their mouth. The were shocked at first but bounced back, "Hey, that's cheating! I didn't know you could fly."

"And I didn't know you could climb buildings. I think we're even." They start pouting "I'll make pay for that."

I take a bite like they had just a bit ago, "I doubt it." They smiled mischievously and start blushing at the same time, "What if I told you that you just indirectly kissed me?"

(Y/n) pov
Chara blushed so hard that her face matched the color of her eyes, "You already spent too much time with Frisk!" She yelled covering her face. "At least I didn't flirt as much as you did when I woke up."

We end up staying up there for a while, but soon enough we're interrupted by a voice that is quickly becoming the bane of my existence "hey, tori is getting worried about the two of you. how'd you even get up here." Chara sighs, "It doesn't matter' just take us home"

"okay kiddos," He puts a hand on each of our shoulders and we suddenly appear in back in Toriel's living room.

"There is no way you had a shortcut up there."
