Blood showered the Underground that day and everyone in that place knew one name that should be feared: Levi.

"Oi, get up. We have work to do."
Her light snoring came to a stop when he nudged her with his foot. "You're not allowed to laze around all the damn time." Levi nudged her again and this time, she rolled over in her sleep and fell with a loud thud on the floor. In his eyes, she deserved that for lazying around all day... even if she did get her chores done on time.
The woman before him wasn't the same as she had been a few years ago; that glare that got him hooked was nowhere to be seen. The flames that once burned so bright in her eyes died the same day her ward breathed his last breath. And Levi, who cared for no one but but himself, looked after this one human he fussed over.
Still, he hoped for the day when her life would have meaning again; the little spitfire that made his nerves tingle. She was still somewhere deep inside, that he was certain of.
In her half asleep state, Levi strapped the harness himself on her since she was being so goddamn slow. "Lift up your arms, brat." Just like a caretaker, he scolded her when she didn't follow his order. He had to smack sense into her quite literally by hitting her upside the head.
"Move it. We're going to be late."
"Whatever, shit face."
An amused snort left him. He did mention that the spitfire he knew was still somewhere in there.
It made his nerves ring repeatedly in delight he rarely indulge himself with.

Levi thought no one would even dare approach him or even Hilda; especially after the night he watered the Underground with the bloods of those shitty police who dared take someone from him.
A few idiots actually came and did something that made his blood boil and his eyes to see red.

In the few years they've been living together and after that incident, Hilda didn't know how or why but the two of them living in this house became four.
The first one who arrived was Farlan Church; Hilda didn't know what to make of him at first. Levi had just let him in after him one day... when she just got out of the shower. For one, Levi knew this was around the time she cleans herself up and two, they didn't have any towels big enough to cover her entire body.
So, when Farlan followed Levi in, with her sitting on the couch, her towel around her shoulders; the ash-blond male promptly walked out just as fast as he walked in.
Levi snorted at that and smacked her upside the head. "Get changed, you shit. How many times did I tell you not to leave the bathroom naked?" She did remember the numerous times he scolded her but did she listen? No, Hilda does her own things as much as she wants. And he knew that but the redundant argument between them was amusing.
He didn't mind either.
After a few minutes scampering for clothes, Levi told Farlan to get inside. The blond male did so but a bashful expression painted his features. "I, uh, didn't know you two were going to be doing it at this time... sorry?" The pair glanced at each other before an amused scoff left them, making Farlan rapidly blink in confusion.
