Austins POV

I made it obvious that I still had feelings for her. I've known her since I was 13, we just haven't seen each other in five years, that's not bad, right?

"Austin, you didn't tell me that Mallory was so hot." Robert jested knowing that it would tick me off.

"Shut up!" I exclaimed throwing a brown circular pillow at him.

"If you don't ask her out soon, I think I may go for it." Zach followed Roberts lead in laughter. I rolled my eyes and walked up stairs. I grabbed basketball shorts and a Miami heat T-shirt.

I started digging in my drawers, I knew I saved it somewhere. My clothes weren't folded anymore, they were all bundled up on my floor, but I kept searching.

"What the hell are you doing?" Robert asked doing in front of my door way, probably thinking I was insane.

"Yes, I found it." I smiled as I gripped onto the old pink sweater.

"Wow, you found a pink sweater. Congrats dude."

"It's not just any pink sweater, it was Mallory's before she moved." I said as I took a sniff of it, after years and years of this fabric being in my drawers it still had a light scent of her.

Last time I saw her wear this was at my old apartment. It was December. It was suppose to be one of the coldest days of the year, but in Miami it never seems to get cold. Mallory's outfit consisted of a pink sweater I bought her from Victoria Secret, dark jeans and glittered vans. She spent the night at my house that night, because her parents were fighting. It got really hot that night, so she took off the sweater and slept in a tank top. She forgot about all about it, as did I, until she moved away and throwing it away was definitely not an option.

I tossed it on the bed and too a quick shower, all I could think about was her.

Mallory's POV

I work up around 7:30 to the sound of my phone chirping which means I had a text message. I growled. I hated staying up late, then waking up early.

"Breakfast? I'll come pick you up." Austin suggested. Which I knew I'd be hungry soon, and I still haven't has enough time to go grocery shopping. I was persuaded.

"Sure. What time?"

"Umm.. In an hour? So 8:30?" He affirmed.

"Yeah, that's good. My address is 9902 Harold Guard Grove. See you later."

I quickly got up from my bed, and tried to put together the perfect outfit. I couldn't think of anything. I mean should I dress up? Should I dress down? I searched for an outfit that screamed out to me. I finally noticed a white long sleeve shirt with a large navy blue anchor in the center. It was exquisite, because I had matching navy blue toms. I then put on blue shorts. I didn't do anything, but brush my hair. It had a natural wave. I added a little bit of mascara, and eye liner, but that's about as much make up I put on.

After, I was finished with my morning routine, it was 8:10. I guess Austin wanted to get an early start, because he knocked on my door 20 minutes earlier.

"Hey, um... I'll be ready in a sec. Come in." I told him, opening the door.

"Nice place."

"I guess, if you look behind the mess." I joked walking to my room, pushing boxes out of my way. I had to quickly finish my other eye with eyeliner or else I would look like a Cyclops.

"Okay I'm ready." I said walking Austin out the door.

Austins style changed so much over the years. His go-to wardrobe uses to be snapback, cargo shorts, she'll necklace and a shirt. Today he wore a black beanie, a black red jacket jacket that Zach established and dark jeans. He still wore jewelry though, although it was a chain necklace and a bracelet his grandma gave him before she passed.
