At the class...

"Before I start, we have a new student. Please introduce yourself, Mr. Choi." the professor gave the platform for Beomgyu to introduce himself.

"Hello! I'm Choi Beomgyu. I look forward to meeting you all!" He bowed and everyone in the class claps.

"Now, please sit on the space infront of Yeonjun." As when Beomgyu heard the name of Yeonjun, he started to feel nervous. Their eyes met as Beomgyu was about to sit but refuse to look into his eyes more.

The professor then starts his discussion.

A girl infront of him looked at him and smiled. "Hi, I'm Chaeri. Welcome to the class! I can be your friend if you want."

Beomgyu is really uncomfortable when talking to girls and he don't know what to response. But then he heard Yeonjun's voice.

"Hey, Chaeri. You can talk to him after class. He won't be able to focus if you keep talking to him." Chaeri just rolled her eyes before bringing her attention back to professor.

The class ended so fast that Beomgyu didn't notice the time. Everyone started packing their things except Beomgyu. He still don't want to go home because he will feel alone again.

He notice that Yeonjun is no longer on his seat. So he arranged his things and went to the rooftop. He checked the place first to see if anyone again is in there. And he let a sigh when he see that no one else is there.

Beomgyu lay on the floor and rest his head on his bag as he look at the red-ish sky because of the sunset. He closed his eyes and felt the quiet atmosphere.

"I knew you would be here" Beomgyu opened his eyes to see Yeonjun at the door. He went to Beomgyu and sit beside him.

He didn't expect Yeonjun to appear. He thought Yeonjun already went home so he went here.

"I thought you already went home." Yeonjun looked at him in confusion. "How can I go home without talking to you?"

Beomgyu felt again this unusual feeling but this time with a pain in his chest.

"By the way, here." Yeonjun gave Beomgyu an ice cream as he rest his back on the wall.

"T-thanks, Yeonjun. I also want to thank you about Chaeri but you don't have to be rude to her. I-i can manage myself." Beomgyu said to Yeonjun.

Of course it's a lie that he can manage talking to Chaeri. And he is grateful that Yeonjun save him. He's just shy to say that.

"I don't think so. You seem uncomfortable." Yeonjun look at him with serious look but Beomgyu look away avoiding Yeonjun's eyes. "Don't tell me you're uncomfortable with me, too?"

To be honest, the reason why Beomgyu keep avoiding Yeonjun's look is because he saw someone familiar in his eyes.

"I'm sorry. I... i have to go." Beomgyu picked his bag and walked away but Yeonjun hold his hand.

"Tell me. Who is this person in your eyes?" Beomgyu looked at him in wide eyes. "Everytime I'll look at your eyes, all I can see is someone else. But there's pain in it."

He noticed...

Beomgyu thought he's already okay. That he can already face the world without pain. But now, he's facing the reality that he's still not fine.

"I'm fine, Yeonjun. You don't have to stress yourself about me." Beomgyu said in blank expression. Yeonjun let out a sigh before he let go Beomgyu's hand. "Thanks. Have a safe trip on your way home."

Beomgyu leave the rooftop leaving Yeonjun in deep thought.

I know you're not fine, idiot.

Yeonjun received a phone call. "Hey, Yeonjun. Coach is looking for you. Where are you?"

"I'm on my way." Yeonjun end the call as he picked his bag.
