Emma's P.O.V
The week went on, school went on, but as much as I liked school, there was nothing better than a nice relaxing weekend. Well this weekend wasn't exactly going to be relaxing. I was loaded with homework. Maths homework, science homework, english homework, history homework, I literally had homework for each and every subject! Me, being the procrastination queen, I thought to myself a quick surf in the fresh air would clear out my mind so I could concentrate when it came to doing homework. After I came up with what I thought was a grand plan, I called Zoey to see if she agreed with me."Hello" she answered.
"Are you up for a surf in 10?" I asked her.
"Em! You know we have so much homework, you can't just waste time surfing!" she exclaimed.
"Well if we do go surfing in the fresh air it will clear up our minds, then we will be able to think better when we actually do our homework" I reasoned with Zoey.
"Why do you have to be so persuasive? Fine I'll come but only for half an hour and then we can go back home and do our homework" Zoey replied.
"Okay sweet, see you at the kiosk in 5" I said grinning.

Whilst waiting at the kiosk I saw people from school skating past or swimming at the beach. I mean seriously, who wouldn't want to be at the beach on such a stunningly sunny and hot day? Who would want to be cramped up in a muggy, humid, hot room doing homework? I'm sure the teachers would understand if we didn't complete all of the set homework. We could simply just say
"Well I didn't want to hand in something that isn't to my best ability so I didn't do it".
I saw Zoey coming down to the kiosk. She looked half asleep, I guess I must've woken her up.~•*•~
After half an hours worth of good surfing, Zoey suggested we should head home to try completing at least some of the homework. I sadly agreed, I didn't want to start the year, my last year, with a bad impression by not finishing the homework."Hey, you should come over to mine. Two minds are better than one. We've got the same homework so we could work together and finish it off quicker!" Zoey suggested having a lightbulb moment.
"Sweet. Yeah also the boys are coming over and doing another cover so I guess I really wouldn't be able to concentrate while their singing" I said agreeing.

I grabbed all my books, booklets and my pencil case, throwing it into my bag, before asking for a lift to Zoey's. I knew I could walk but I was feeling lazy."Mum, Dad, Michael. Can someone please give me a lift to Zoey's? We're going to do our homework together at hers" I asked.
"Why don't you just walk?" Michael asked.
"I'm feeling lazy. Please Michael! Come on I know you want to!" I teased him.
"Okay okay, but you owe me" he said giving in.

It was a two minute drive to her house, literally, she only lived on the other side of the block. As we pulled up at her house I thanked Michael for ride and headed inside to do some serious homework. We went upstairs to Zoey's bedroom and placed everything on the floor. We looked down and gaped, we had a lot of work to do. This would take hours! Well with our "fresh minds" we started.
