Chapter Four

Zoey's P.O.V
I surfed a few more waves after Emma's dramatic exit. Whenever I surfed I felt so happy, especially when I surfed an amazing wave.

I paddled back to shore before peeling my wetsuit off me. I walked to the bike rack, put my board into the side bit one bike and threw my sundress on. I started peddling home slowly.

I opened the house, and no one was home. Mum and Dad were at work, and Ashton was at his soccer training. I was in charge of making dinner tonight. Opening the pantry I looked through wondering what to make. Deciding to be lazy, I called into Dominos and ordered pizza. Who doesn't love pizza?

"Hello, it's Zac from Domino's. What would you like to order?" chirped a voice from the other end of the line.

"Hello. Um could I please order a large cheese pizza, hawaiiwan pizza, and vegetarian pizza. Also could I have a 2 litre bottle of Pepsi, and two garlic bread" I thoughtfully ordered.

"So one large cheese pizza, one large hawaiian pizza, and one large vegetarian pizza, two garlic bread and one 2 litre bottle of Pepsi" repeated the dominos guy.

"Yep, could I also get home delivering please" I added on, with my stomach growling.

"Yes, your order should be ready in about 15 minutes. If your pizza's come cold, you get your order redelivered for free" Zac went on.

"Thank you very much" I said bored and ending the conversation.

I switched the TV on, browsing through the channels. I don't know what it was but only bad shows came on now-a-days! What happened to the good old Lizzy McGuire or That's So Raven? All that comes on TV now is boring repetitive shows. I turned the TV off, not wanting to waste my time watching useless junk.

I hopped off the couch, and was greeted by a very sloppy wet kiss from my little puppy Bella. Bella was given to me as a gift for my 10th birthday, there is no way to describe the joy she brings into my life.

After playing with Bella for ten or so minutes, I heard the doorbell being rung. It could be Mum, Dad, Ashton, or the pizza guy, and not to sound rude or anything I really hope it was the pizza man. I was starving!

I strolled into the hallway and headed for the door. I opened it and it was Ashton. Uh, the disappointment I felt was indescribable.

"Why do you seem so upset to see me?" Ashton questioned.

"I thought it was the pizza man! But it was only you. Who wouldn't be disappointed?" I said sticking my bottom lip out like a sulking toddler.

He punched me on the arm jokingly, but little did he know it still hurt. He walked off without saying anything else just as there was another knock at the door. I crossed my fingers and toes as I went to open the door again. The smell of delicious pizza wafted through the door as I handed the money over and grabbed the pizza thanking the delivery guy.

"Ashton, the pizzas here! Come down and before I eat all the hawaiian!" I said teasingly. Hawaiian was his favourite. I remember one time we got pizza when he was out with the boys, Luke, Michael, and Calum. When he came home to see all the pizza boxes he threw his temper-tantrum storming up into the room before slamming it shut. It was quite a funny moment.

"Hey! Don't eat my pizza, you little brat!" Ashton yelled as he got out of the shower. He ran down the stairs in shorts but no shirt and grabbed the whole pizza.

"Ashton! Stop being greedy and go put a shirt on." I said laughing

The night went on. It was a first, Ashton and I actually got along! Well we did fight, but within five minutes of it we had forgotten what we were arguing over, and forgiven each other, which showed how stupid our fights were.
