I got home from school to see my mom car still in the driveway.I guess she has to work the night shift tonight.I walked into the house and went straight into my room and looked for my clothes for my shower.I decided on some sweatpants and a white and black tank top.I walked to the bathroom to turn on the water for my shower and got in the shower.After getting out the shower and putting my clothes in the laundry room I walked down the hallway and peeped my head into my mom's room seeing she was still sleep so I closed the door backed and walked to my room.Sometimes I wish we had that mother daughter relationship like most people have but I guess we'll never had that.
I walked to my room and turned on my tv and layed down across my bed and watched some tv.After a while I got tired of watching tv and turned the tv off and decided to put on my glasses and get on my phone and read some books on Wattpad.I really love books on there because some of them really describe my life.After finishing up two books I decided to take a nap it was around 1:30 so I had plenty of time to get some rest.
It was about 3 when I woke up by a knock on my door.It was my mom she walked in and gave me a small square box.I opened up the box to see a heart necklace in there it was absolutely gorgeous and I love it.I got up and hug her and thanked her for the necklace.We talked for a while until she told me she had to go to work.We said our goodbyes and she left out my room and went to work.I started to think I wasn't the only one who thinks we need a better relationship,and she was the first one to make a move to get a better relationship.
Around 4 I got a knock on my front door from my friends Jen and Sean and I let them in.We started talking about things and then I told them about my mom and about the necklace and our little talk we had.They were the only ones that knew about our relationship and they always told me it would get better one day.Around 5:30 they had to leave and go home so I went back to room and layed back down and watched some tv.After a hour a got a text from my mom saying she was off tomorrow so we could go get some breakfast in the morning and we could do a little shopping.A big smile appeared on my face I guess when grandma said better days are coming she really meant it.
