Chapter lll (Leo)

Hello this is Roza here this is a really short and crappy chapter but i wanted to update soon because i kept you waiting so long.

As soon as Nico fell into the ocean, Hazel went crazy. She charged the monster screaming and probably would have been eaten if it wasn't for Piper's distraction. How do you distract a three-ton monster with impenetrable skin? Apparently by throwing a shoe at it. "So it doesn't feel a sword stabbing it, but it feels a shoe bouncing off the side of its head? Am I the only one who finds that weird?"

"Frank, go after Nico. Everyone else, throw things at Shrimpzilla over there. It seems to distract it." Jason shouted. So I'm not the only one who noticed. "Leo, any ideas on how to kill it?"

"Nope."

"Well maybe if I could strike it in the mouth or eye with lightning or--"

I cut Jason off.  "Ummmmm....I think Piper figured out how to kill it." As if to prove my point, the monster's growls changed into a sort of choking noise. It tto slid off the ship and back into the water.

"How did she......." Jason trailed off.

“She threw a knife down its throat!” I told him. Piper walked over to us.

“Shut your mouth, or you'll catch flies,” she teased Jason. He just shook his head and pulled her into a kiss.  They were stopped by Frank emerging from the water carrying an unconscious Nico.

Hazel ran over to him sobbing  “Oh gods, Nico” she turned to frank “Is he going to be okay, please tell me hes going to be okay”

“I think so but we need to get him to the infirmary”

        (In the infirmary)

Nicos unconscious form was so still he almost looked dead. His skin was unnaturally pale from his time imprisoned in the jar by the twin Giants, and his breathing was shallow. Hazel haven't left his side since frank carried him aboard. She blames herself for not warning him in time. We've tried to tell her it wasn't her fault but she won't believe us. "So, anybody want tacos" Jason shot me a glare. Geez I was just trying to lighten the mood.

"Well he does have a point. We do need to eat something" piper pointed out

"Okay let's get something to eat" frank agreed "Hazel come on, we need to get you some food"

"No, I'm not leaving him"

Frank shot piper a pleading look. She seemed to understand was he wants because she walked over to hazel

"Hazel come get some food he'll be alright. Nico's stronger than any of us know. He survived Tartarus by himself, he can get through this." She said lacing her words with charmspeak. Hazel reluctantly nodded her head and followed piper to the dining hall. Jason and I trailed after them, taking a seat at the table.

Jason was the first to speak "We need to talk about how to make it to the doors of death. Presumably Gaea is going to do everything she can to stop us from reaching the doors."

"That's a good point but we still don't know where the doors of death are-" frank was cut off by a new voice.

" Greece. Epirus,(did i spell that right, probably not) Greece. That where the doors are" everyone turned around to see Nico leaning on the door frame. He looked tired but other than that he seemed fine. Hazel ran acrossed the room and threw her arms around him.

"Oh gods Nico. I was so worried about you " she whispered

Nico just chuckled" I'm fine. I just passed out from oxygen deprivation"
