Clawstar's revenge(part 2)

     Clawfur felr his fur bristling with rage as he yowled loudly for help.  LightClan cats were swarming around him. Fretfoot lashed out at one of the LightClan warriors. There were only about five or six cats all together. Soyclaw hurled himself onto Clawfur's back. Clawfur's knees buckled beneath his weight and he felt claws sinking into his scruff.

     Clawfur heard angry yowling, saw a flash of blue, and then the weight was lifted off of him. He got up just in time to see Rainfern hurling Soyclaw across the clearing. The dark brown warriors back collided with a rock and he stiffened. By now Duskheart, Windtail, Fernheart, Firefly, Torchcall, Smolderfur, and Rivetfur were battering at the LightClan cats.

    The LightClan intruders were outnumbered greatly and knew that they should run. Clawfur reared onto his hind legs and slashed a young warrior across the face. He screeched in pain and his pale blue eyes widened. Clawfur recognized him as Lashpaw.

    Rainfern dashed to Clawfur's side. She was bleeding from a deep gash in her side. Clawfur gasped as he saw it.

     "Rainfern I have to get you to the medicine cat!" He cried as he carefully nudged her shoulder. Rainfern winched in pain but limped to the medicine cats den despite it anyway.

     Clawfur gasped and dashed in front of Rainfern as they arrived. In the back of the den two LightClan warriors were hissing at the medicine cat, Barkface. The two warriors turned to face the extra two DarkClan cats. Shock lit up their eyes in the dark and they backed away into a corner. Clawfur growled.

     "Stay away from Rainfern, and I'll let you out alive." Clawfur narrowed his eyes in anger as the bigger cat, Ringfang, smirked.

     "Oh what? Your little kitty to weak to defend herself?" Clawfur snarled at the tone in Ringfang's voice. He glowered at the tom as her stalked slowly toward him. Once they were standing face-to-face he stopped.

     "I. said. stay, AWAY!" Ringfang sneered and jumped at Rainfern."NO!" Clawfur yowled and sank his claws into his neck. The LightClan warrior fell limp beneath him. Rainfern stumbled out from beneath the LightClan warrior, she was bleeding from another wound, this time on her shoulder. The yowls outside had quieted down and the cats were talking among themselves.

    Clawfur laid down beside Rainfern as she rested in the extra nest. Barkface goy his herbs and started to treat the wounds on Rainfern. Clawfur hardly realized that Barkface had done his wounds too.

     After a short while Clawfur fell asleep, by the one he knew he felt for, but no one knew.
