Yay already part 3! :) Okay on with the story:

-------------------------------------------------------------

Clawfur looked up from the nest. He was inside the medicine cats den with Rainfern. Ringfang's body had been moved by his fellow warrior the night before as Duskheart had chased him away. The cats from LightClan had used to be good allies but Dimstar announced he was going to unalience with them at the gatherig, which was tonight.

Rainfern's wounds were not deep but just sore. Clawfur had fetched her a mouse from the fresh kill pile last night because she had desperetly needed the energy. He pressed against the buetiful she-cat and inhaled her sweet scent.

Rainfern stirred and looked up. She smiled warmly at Clawfur and he did the same. Duskheart padded into the den and pushed past Rainfern to see his past mentor and now deputy.

     "How are you Clawfur?"

"Fine thanks, Duskheart, you?" Duskheart only nodded and turned around, heading out of the den. Clawfur was used to his former apprentices strange ways so he hardly noticed that he didn't talk much.

Rainfern shook her pelt free of moss and padded out into the clearing. Clawfur followed, letting the pretty she-cat lean on his shoulder. The battle with LightClan last night had left DarkClan wondering why there were so few cats in the attack. Dimstar was gathering the cats for the gathering because it was nearly dark.

Rainfern and Clawfur filed out with the other chosen cats and headed on their way. Once they got the the river Clawfur waded through the shallows, leading the other cats. Rainfern didn't seem to mind the water much, if not at all.

Dimstar stood on the breat oak at the end of the gathering. He had spoken to Sunstar, the leader of LightClan. They had had no idea that their warriors had snuck out of camp to attack DarkClan. Dimstar had spoken to the other leaders incase their was something up but Scarstar,of WildClan, and Featherstar, of MistClan, had both denied any blame in the warriors attack on DarkClan.

Clawfur had confronted Lashpaw at the gathering just before it started. The apprentice had confessed that the warriors in his clan and his mentor had snuck out and that his mentor had forced him into coming. Clawfur was reluctant to let him go even after he made him swear not to tell anyone anything.

Rainfern had seen plenty of cats from the attack. All but Ringfang, Wiltfur, and Harespring, all who where killed. It unerved her that the LightClan leader knew nothing about her warriors attack but DarkClan did. After a long gathering the cats finially went home. With one last hostile glare to Lashpaw, Clawfur joined Rainfern.

They walked side by side with their pelts brushing.
