Ruth' s POV

Lucian dropped me at the castle and left for warehouse. He said that he has an urgent meeting. Generally he shared all the matters with me but Today I felt as he was hiding something from me.

When he was talking with his father I felt through our bond that  he was angry. I asked him about that but he said not to worry as it was just about some rogues.

I am happy that Lucian's Parents like me. Lucian's mother is really caring and loving person. She really treats me as I was her own daughter. Lucian's father is not more talkative but he said that he is happy that Lucian found me.

It was past evening. Lucian messaged me to have my dinner as he will be late. I spend my time in library as I was not been able to sleep. I heard a knock on library's door. Zara was standing at the door. I asked her to come in.

"Luna, somebody gave this envelope to guard. Its for you." Zara said and placed an envelope in front of me.

"Do you know who it was?" I asked Zara.

" No Luna. Guard said that the person who gave this to him was covering his face and he disappeared before gurad would have asked anything to him." She said.

"Okay. You can go. Thank you." I said. She walked away after bowing her head.

Who would it be? I opened that envelope and removed a paper from it.

    "I am waiting for you in our bedroom, Sweetheart."

Oh it is Lucian. What was the need for this letter. But how can I not feel his presence here through our bond. I ignored all the doubts and ran towards our bedroom. I was waiting for him from the whole afternoon.

I entered our bedroom. Lights were off. I looked everywhere but I found no one. Suddenly arms wrapped around my waist. This was not Lucian. I can recognized Lucian's touch. A familiar cologne hit my nose. I felt as I know the person standing behind me. I dont know why but panick rose in my body. I was about to scream when he put his hand on my mouth. I tried to wiggled in his held but he was strong.

"My little kitten has became fisty uh?" he spoke in my ear. I know this Man. One thing was sure that he is the same man who wrote threatning message on my appartment's wall.

" I like the fiesty you. But I liked you more when you were more submissive to me." He said while placing a kiss on my neck. I felt disgusted by his touch. I scream in my mind for Lucian. I hope that he would get my message.

Suddenly that man turned me to face him. My eyes meet with the same blue one's from my nightmare. I saw that man's face clearly as moon light was directly falling on his face.

"Dont you remember me, Kitten. We have spent a good time together, didnt we?." He said while caressing my cheeks by one hand and other was holding my wrist tightly.

"I want to take you right now with me but I want you to remember me first. I want to see that fear on your beautiful face which you used to have for me. Then I will snatch you from my little brother." He said. I was standing like a statue.

" You can never be someone's mate. You are mine. You are my Little kitten. And you will follow my orders as before otherwise you will get punished. I hope you will remeber your punishments. Oh, those are the most beautiful memories for me. The way you used to scream when that whip hit your petite body." Tears were running from my eyes as memories flooded back to me.

" The Most amazing moment was when I put my mark on your waist. Remember, how did you scream when that hot metal touched your body? Oh, your screams were like melodies music for my ears."

" Your father, that son of a bitch took you from my hold and hide you and errased your memory as well as my mark with the help of a witch. He protected you from me by the help of that witch. But I took my revenge by killing him and his mate. But still I was not able to find you. Until, I sent my men to kill Lucian's mate. But when one of them came back to me injured, I smelled your smell. Then I found out that you are the mate of my little brother. It will be fun to watch him die when I will snatch you from him." He said. I was shocked to hear everything he said. All memories were rushing back to me. Suddenly Sebastian released me.

" I will come for you soon, Kitten." He said and ran out of the window.

" Ruth.." I turned to face Lucian as he immedietly came towards me and engulfed me in a tight hug. I tightly hugged him as my life depends on him. I was too scare to leave him.

"Thank God, You are okay. I heard your screams. I thought that I lost you. What happened, Love?" Lucian checked me for injuries.

" H-he came." I said while crying. Anger was evident on lucians face. I heard a loud growl from him.

" What he did, Love? " Lucian asked in anger.

"I remembered everthing, Lucian. He is a monster. He tourtured me when I was 14 years old. He kidnapped me and kept me in the dungeon of this same castle for a week." I started crying and sobbing in lucian's arm. He was trying to calm me.

Lucian lifted me bridal style and laid me on the bed. He laid beside me and started running his fingers through my hair. It calmed me down.

" He will take me away from you. I dont want to leave you Lucian. I dont." I cried while hiding my face in his chest.

"Shh love, nobody will take you away from me. I will not let him take you. You are mine. My mate. My queen. My love. I will protect you over my life. Please calm down love. Dont remeber those bad memories. It was past. " He said while rubbing my back.

" He k-killed my parents." I said while crying.

" I know." He said

" How do you know? " I asked.

" Today my dad told me about your past. As your father used to be the beta in our pack. He left the pack with his mate and his daughter who was fighting with death. Your father saved you from sebastian and told my father about his bad deeds. I dig more into the matter after leaving you here. I found out that he killed your parents. Today I attacked all the places where was the possibility of finding him. But that fucker was in my bedroom all the time, threatning my mate." Lucian said angrily.

" Forgive me Love, that I was not there when you needed me. But I promise you from now onwards I will not leave you alone even for a second. I will not let him harm you in anyway. " Lucian said while kissing my forehead.

" I trust you." I said and kissed his cheek. Lucian was looking towards me with love. I know he was angry and worried at the same time. I could feel the love he was having for me.

I dont know what get into me as I kissed his lips. He responsed my kiss immedietly. He kissed me possessively. His kiss was dominant. He was trying to calm himself down. After few minutes that kiss became gentle. I dont know for how much time we stayed like that in each otheres embrance. After what felt like eternity we broke off the kiss.

" Good Night, My love." Lucian said while kissing my forehead and holding me tight in his embrance.

"Good Night." I smiled and snuggled more into him. I dont have to fear when I have him in my life. I trust him when he said that he loves me. I trust him when he said that he will protect me.

My all fears and worries were gone when I saw Lucian. I felt safe with him. I dont know what will happen in future but I was sure about one thing that I was in love with this handsome man who was holding me possessively in his arms. I love you Lucian. I smiled at my thought. And lost into my sleep.
