Stefan: The Immortal

Chapter 1

Hey all, so this is my first ever story so please go easy on me. i am learning how to do this as i go, so please be patient with me.

So this story is gonna be about Stefan Salvatore and his journey through the Vampire Diaries universe, more specifically my version of it (for this story atleast). Through this story stefan will face many obstacles, he will find love, and stefan is not going to be a saint. however he will not be full Ripper either, he will be somewhere in the middle.

Chapter 1: The Beginning

Athens, Greece

100 B.C.

Just outside the Ancient city of Athens, in a small village there were two young boys around the age of 10 running around, chasing each other. Now this may seem like a normal everyday occurrence and it was for these two boys, but there was something different about these two boys that no regular human could notice unless they were aware of the supernatural world that existed around them. These two boys possessed an aura of power that was incredibly strong for their age or even for magical beings in general.

Before i get to far ahead of myself, let me start by introducing these two boys to you. These two boys were more than just 10 year old boys, they were brothers, more specifically, twins. The first born of the two was named Silas. Silas was born about 15 minutes before his twin. His twin was named Stefan. Even though Stefan and Silas are twins its easy to tell them apart because while they may look alike, they certainly acted differently. Silas could be described as mischievous, independent, outgoing and hard to control. Stefan was more serious, selfless, kind, and even though he was also independent, stefan had no problem trusting others and could depend on them if the situation required it.

Anyways back to the story, Stefan and Silas were chasing each other throughout the village where other children were also playing around. well it was more like Stefan was chasing Silas around and this is how it usually went. Silas would do something that would annoy Stefan and Stefan would usually try to ignore Silas and his antics. However Silas would continue to annoy Stefan until he could no longer ignore it, and this lead to Stefan chasing his older twin around until their parents got involved. This time around Silas didnt just annoy his twin, he took Stefan's Journal that was made out of lether and animal skin, which was used to make the front/back covers of the journal and the pages that were included. Stefan liked to write in his journal from time to time, especially when he was happy or sad about something.

Silas get back here and give me my journal, said Stefan.

Not a chance little brother, said Silas as he continues to run from his twin brother.

Stefan chased his brother through the village until they were interrupted by a stern voice that said.

Stefan, Silas get in this house now! This was shouted by a woman that looked to be in her mid 30's.
