Chapter 3- So What?

It was finally the glorious day of my day-off. So I casually just decide to shop for some business attire for my job as president a.k.a Kai's "secretary"

I go to the closest mall near my apartment. It wasn't just an ordinary mall it was the second most huge mall of the city. I go in and buy some normal business attire and head back as quick as I can because I didnt want to waste my precious hours of a day off in a stupid mall shopping for clothes related to my work.

Even though the mall could be considered "near", I had to walk a lot in between, while walking I pass by the famous cafe of my area "Miran's Coffee" I was really close to the owner of Miran's Coffee because he was my father's close friend, one could assume Miran was the name of the owner but Miran was actuallythe name of the owner's cat who passed away 2 years ago.

I still remember how she used to wander near our old house like she owned it. She was one adorable cat. Even though I am hell lot of afraid of cats I could atleast be near to Miran but it was sad how she was no longer there. I walk in and greet the Owner "Hello, How are you?"
"Oh my! (y/n)! Its a pleasure to see you. Where were you all these days?"
"I got a job....and had been busy these days but I don't think I can survive without your honey latte for more days" I smile
"Haha! you and your addiction to our honey latte" the owner laughs. He was right though I personally don't like coffee but Miran's honey latte was love. "So where are you working at?"

Why am I so afraid to answer this question?
"Oh..... I am working at Tamaki as........ The secretary of the president." I muster up courage and say, I should be proud but then there is something that tells me I dont deserve to be in such a position.
"WOW! That's wonderful! Tamaki is a very big company. Good luck!" He smiles.
I am glad he is a positive person. If I told this to anyone else they probably wouldn't even believe me.

I look for a table in the corner of the cafe which was the only table left. The table had a huge glass pane from where one could see the beautiful outside view.
Suddenly when a waiter with his one hair part down comes near me. "What would you like?"
"Uh...A honey latte please." I shyly say. Trust me I am no good in talking to strangers and this waiter was new.
"Coming right up!" He smiles.
I smile back.

After a few minutes of waiting I hear some tiny drops of water on the glass pane and in no time it was raining heavily. Oh no it was raining which means I am stuck here! I panic.

Just when the cafe door opens with the sound of the bell it had. I look towards the door and a handsome man in an expensive suit walks in almost drenched. I try to make out his face as my eyesight wasn't the "best" and I realize it was no one other than the PRESIDENT!!

I almost jump up from the seat but try to maintain my posture. I was too afraid to look up. I was sure Kai was walking towards here because there were no seats left except the one on MY table.
"Miss (Y/n)?"
I jump up from my seat. Why me?
"Oh Mr.Kai! I am sorry I almost didnt notice your presence!"
"It's ok....Can I sit here?"
"O-of course if you want I will stand!" I frantically say.
"There are two seats, its ok" he looks at me. He must be weirded out!

He sits down like his usual way with an erect posture his broad shoulders couldn't even look more attractive. What the hell are you even thinking (Y/N)?!
He looks at his clothes water dripping from his shirt revealing his toned chest. I look down in embarrassment.

I grab some tissues and pass it to him. He takes them but it wasn't enough. I put my hand in my purse and try to search for something but the only thing I could find was a handkerchief with bears on it which was too embarrassing to even take out but I did and passed it to him trembling.

He looked down on it which was reealllyyyy embarrassing but he raised his large mascular hand and took it from me a second later I could see him smile?
What was so funny? A 21 year old woman having a handkerchief with BEARS on it? sure!

The waiter walks up to Kai.
"What would you like sir?" He asks
"A dark espresso, no sugar" Kai replied
Ewwww thats so bitter. I could almost feel it just from hearing the word espresso. I was not a big fan of bitter things but sweet things were something I could gulp down as much as I want.

"Thats so bitter" I mutter.
"Yeah it is" Kai chuckles. To be honest his smile made me smile. It was adorable but HE IS YOUR BOSS FOR GOD'S SAKE (Y/N)!!!

The waiter then soon comes with a really bitter-looking espresso and two heart shaped cookies.
Kai looks at it "I didn't order this"
"Oh! Its the couple's special!" The waiter bows.
Eh? Couple tfffffffff
"W-we are not a couple!!" I almost yell.
The waiter winces. "I am so sorry ma'am"

I look at Kai and his expression was normal. Maybe I over reacted?
After some minutes which felt like hours. The rain stops.
"I guess we leave?" Kai stands up.
I grab my purse too "y-yeah"
"I can't believe the waiter assumed us as a couple" I laugh as I say that to Kai.
He turns on his back and mumbles something which almost felt like.....
                                         "So, what?"
