Hyunjin sat down at the counter in his go-to bar.
He's here almost every other weekend, either alone or with friends, so all the bartenders, as well as the regulars, knew him by now. He also knew most of the others, so if there was a new face he was, of course, intrigued to see what kind of person that was.A lot of people would probably call Hyunjin a fuckboy because he likes to play around with new, but also with old faces, knowing that they would easily give in to him, wanting to be with someone as handsome as him, even if it was only for a few hours or a night.
The bartender brought him his usual Daiquiri before going on and serving the other customers.
Hyunjin didn't have a plan on how his night should end, but he definitely was in for some fun, so he looked around in the bar, observing the people and looking for someone interesting.Soon, his eyes landed on a brunette boy sitting at one of the tables next to a window, staring out while holding an empty glass in his hand, looking as if he was waiting for something or someone.
With a smile, Hyunjin got up from his stool and went over to the other, his eyes not losing focus.
From appearance only, Hyunjin would say that the brunette was younger than him. His appearance seemed as if he was nervous, not used to such an atmosphere.Hyunjin sat down across from the other.
Before he said anything he quickly scanned the boy's face and must admit that he was pretty."You're aren't around often, are you?", Hyunjin asked, leaning forward a bit.
"First time" the other replied, his voice was just as soft as his face, but something in his eyes told Hyunjin something he wasn't sure what it meant.
"You seem nervous, is something up?", the dark-haired boy then asked. The other frowned, but his face was quickly back to untelling, yet friendly. "I'm waiting for someone" he informed Hyunjin before continuing to look out of the window, searching the streets with his eyes.
"Must be someone pretty special if a pretty boy like you waits for them, all alone," Hyunjin said, stirring his drink in his hand.
"Special? Yeah, you could probably say that" the brunette said, but didn't look back at Hyunjin."I bet I can be better than them" Hyunjin then challenged, annoyed that he couldn't keep the other's attention on him.
The brunette scoffed at him, slowly turning his head back to him. "I don't think you want to be him," he said before standing up, his eyes glued back on the window, following something with his eyes. But Hyunjin wouldn't give up so easily, he stood up as well. "What makes you so sure?", he asked, stopping the slightly shorter boy from getting past him.
"I don't even know your name, why should you be special to me?", he asked, the look in his eyes changed, but Hyunjin couldn't decipher to what.
"Hyunjin. Hwang Hyunjin" he easily replied."Well, Hwang Hyunjin, as much as I enjoyed our little chat just now, I really have to go and I think it's better for both of us if you would let me leave, now," the other said before pushing past Hyunjin, not caring about the frown on his face.
Once he was past Hyunjin, the brunette practically ran out of the bar, taking his phone out on the way to seemingly call someone.
The whole situation appeared rather weird to Hyunjin and he was intrigued. Whatever that boy hid from him, he wanted to know what it is so he quickly found himself following the pretty boy down the streets.
He easily caught up to the brunette as he stopped at a crossroad under a lamppost, looking around as if he lost something.
When he touched the other's shoulder he turned around, panic apparent on his face, but it quickly faded.
"You didn't tell me your name," Hyunjin said, a rather bad excuse to follow someone out onto a dark street.
"Seungmin" he replied, turning around quickly, ready to go again, his eyes scanning the area once again.
Hyunjin didn't want to let him go, though, not yet, so he grabbed him by the wrist.
When Seungmin looked at him expectantly, wanting him to hurry up, but Hyunjin didn't know what to say.
"Okay, Hyunjin. I don't know what kind of games you're trying to play here..." Seungmin began, taking a deep breath "... but you should really let me go if you want to survive the night" he ended, taking the other hand that Hyunjin didn't have in his grip, to grab behind him, pointing a pistol at him, not even seeming hesitant to use the weapon.
Surprised and shocked, he let go of the other's wrist, backing up a bit, holding his hands up in defence.
"I-" he started, but Seungmin didn't let him finish."And if you want to survive more than tonight, you better tell nobody about what happened today, do you understand?", he questioned.
Hyunjin could only nod, trying to process the situation he just got himself in.
Seungmin turned around but didn't put back the weapon he was holding, only looking back when the dark almost swallowed all of him.
"If not, you're about to play a very dangerous game, Hwang Hyunjin"
