It was only natural to be frustrated if a mission doesn't go the way it was meant to be but it's not like it never happened before, so it was rather weird to see Seungmin that annoyed about it.

"Come on Minnie, it could've happened to any of us" Chan tried to cheer him up as the younger was poking around in his food the whole time now.
"I would've gotten him if it wasn't for that stupid brat" the brunette argued, putting his chopsticks down and standing up from the table.

When Seungmin left the room, Chan couldn't help but sigh.
Sure, it was a rather important part of the mission that went wrong but it wasn't Seungmin's fault. As he said, it could've happened to anyone.

"Felix, did you hear that guys name? I want to know who Seungmin has to stumble upon to loose his cool" Minho then asked.
Felix was also in the bar last night, but for something different. It didn't stop him from eavesdropping other people though.
"Hwan Hyunjin? Hwang Hyunjin? Something along those lines I think" the Australian shrugged, eating his food as if nothing happened.

"I'll go see if I find any interesting about that guy," Minho said with a nod, knowing that he will find something if he'd look in the right places.

"Good. Jisung, Changbin you two need to rearrange the operation. Find out where Bonhwa went, we need to solve this fast before he's out of the country" Chan then ordered.
The two nodded before standing up and getting to work. It shouldn't be too hard for them to track him down within a day or two.

Seungmin let himself fall onto his bed. With a sigh, he thought back to last night. If he had just ignored Hyunjin it probably wouldn't have gone wrong...

Not only did the whole mission go wrong because of him, no, he also pointed a weapon to an innocent person's head without even thinking.
Sure, he threatened him not to tell, but there was no saying for sure that he would keep quiet.

Sighing once again, Seungmin turned onto his back.
The mattress was way too hard to be comfortable in any way, honestly. But that was all they could afford.
It's not like they had no money, pretty much the contrary, but they had to keep their base secret obviously, so they couldn't allow themselves to go out and buy something fancy as it would put too much attention on the old building they were using.

Of course, they could go home at any time they wanted. But in times like these where they had operation after operation, it would be too dangerous to be seen with anyone they didn't want to involve in their businesses.

Ever since Seungmin swore loyalty to Chan and the group, Seungmin has barely been back to his family, not wanting them to find out what he was doing now, as well as he didn't want them to get hurt because of him so he made sure to interact the least possible with them, even if it hurts him, he always tells himself it's for their safety and that that was most important. He would still go to family reunions and stuff but he always had to lie about what he was doing after he finished school.
Well, he wasn't completely lying. He would always say that he works in the medical field, which wasn't wrong. He and Jeongin were the ones that would always patch up the others of they got into a fight and it wasn't necessary to see an actual doctor.
He would just never mention that he was mainly involved in illegal business and working against the law most of the time.

It's not like he had planned to ever join an underground gang, but it somehow happened when Felix had gotten into a gun-fight a few years ago where Seungmin was close and he ended up giving Felix first aid and waited with him until Chan had come to pick him up as he had denied any further medical help from a professional.
And Chan not knowing what Seungmin saw or knew he just took him with him and asked him a bunch of questions before offering him to join the group when they met again a few days later.

Seungmin still doesn't know why, but he agreed without a second thought.
But that was almost three years ago and the group was like his family now and he doesn't regret joining even if he sometimes got into rather heated arguments with the others. But that was normal for all of them by now.
