Hyunjin didn't look back again but he could hear Bonhwa cussing at him until he was silenced, somehow.
He honestly had no idea where he was but he would just find his way home sooner or later.

From all of the people possible to be involved in illegal stuff, why must he know the one he would help catch? And someone he had seen as part of his family on top of all...
Well, at least the whole thing ended badly back then, so at least he didn't have to feel bad now.

Maybe five minutes passed with him just walking down random streets in hopes that something will look familiar to him but that wasn't the case.
The fact that it was dark already didn't really help him at all. Everything looks the same in the dark.

"Hey, are you lost, kid?", a deep voice asked in front of him.
And in all honesty, Hyunjin's string of patience and being nice snapped.
"For fucks sake, I'm not a kid" he spat, looking up to look at that dude.
"Aw, look at this little puppy, all bark but no bite, I bet" he grinned, holding Hyunjin's chin in his hand.
"Trust me, I will" Hyunjin growled.

"Let him be, he's with us" another person interfered, making the guy in front of Hyunjin at least let him go, looking away over the latter to see who just talked.
With a grin, he turned back to Hyunjin. "I wonder what's so special about you that even Stray's leader comes to pick you up" he laughed as he turned around and just left, leaving Hyunjin puzzled about what just happened.

"Why did you go away?", the person behind him then asked, finally making him turn around.
"Because I did what you asked me to do. You don't need me anymore" Hyunjin shrugged. Chan was still fully armed and in any other situation Hyunjin would've probably been scared for his life but right now he was just exhausted.

"And where do you think you're going?", Chan then asked him.
"Home, where else do I have to go?", Hyunjin frowned.
"Well, that's the wrong direction" the older laughed.

"How should I know? I've never been here, I just want to get away" Hyunjin told him, his annoyance only growing.
"Come on, I'll show you the way" the older the told him with a fatherly smile, turning around and walking back down the alley where he just came from.
Knowing that Chan was probably the only chance he had to find his way back, he followed him with a sigh, keeping some distant though.

It didn't even take that long until they got back to a familiar sight. Chan also managed to avoid the alley from earlier on, which Hyunjin was actually pretty glad about.
Even though he only shot Bonhwa in his leg, Hyunjin wasn't really keen on seeing the blood that was left behind. It was already disgusting enough that it got onto his hands, he didn't want to see or know more about it. He didn't even want to know what would happen to him now, honestly, he just wanted him to burn in hell.

When they finally arrived at Hyunjin's house, he expected Chan to go on his ways but instead, he still stood behind the younger while he was unlocking the door.
"Don't you have to take care of Bonhwa or something?", Hyunjin asked him as he turned around to him.
"Minho and Changbin will be doing that. Can we talk?", he asked, much to Hyunjin's surprise.
"Sure... I guess" the other sighed, letting Chan enter. The older had already seen his mess of an apartment, if you could even call it that anymore, so Hyunjin knew that wouldn't be an excuse.

The first thing Hyunjin did, was finally taking the makeup off, it was already smudged anyway and he felt fairly disgusting after letting Bonhwa touch him.
Meanwhile, Chan sat down on the small stool that Hyunjin used as a chair.
"So, what do you want to talk about?", Hyunjin asked him, throwing his makeup-wipe away.

"Well, first of all, I want to thank you for helping us today, secondly, what exactly do you know about Bonhwa?", Chan asked with an arched eyebrow. "And why didn't you tell me you knew him?", he added.

"I didn't tell you that I knew him because I didn't know that the person you were looking for and the guy I saw for the last time four years ago would be the same person" Hyunjin began "and I don't really know anything about him. I only know that he and my father used to be involved in a lot of illegal stuff that caused plenty of problems for anyone around. With their last action, it ended with my father being arrested while he got away with it. Since then I never heard of him again" Hyunjin told him, sitting down on his bed, he honestly barely felt anything if he talked about it father. Even if he was sad when he was arrested and therefore left him back alone. His world shattered when he got the notice that his father passed away but he still couldn't cry about it, he barely ever cried ver since his mother died but that was a whole other story he never wanted to talk or even think about.

"So you've been here alone for the last four years?", Chan asked him.
"Yeah" the other mumbled in reply.
"And you get your living by sleeping with older guys?"
"Well, what else do I have left? As if anyone would employ someone who came from here. I just need to get enough to keep living" Hyunjin shrugged.

"How about you join us?", Chan suggested, taking Hyunjin by surprise.
"You're not serious, are you?", he frowned.
"Of course I am! You were already great help to us. And if you stay with us you don't have to worry about money or food or anything else, really" Chan smiled.

"I don't think the other's would be so enthusiastic about your suggestion" Hyunjin then said, turning his head to the small broken window.
"Most of the other's were picked up by me out of similar situations. I'm sure they'll accept you just fine" Chan promised.
