'𝐼𝓈 𝒾𝓉 𝓈𝑜 𝓌𝓇𝑜𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝑜 𝓁𝑜𝓃𝑔 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝓁𝑜𝓋𝑒?'

Unclenching and clenching his hands, he then looked back to where that girl was last seen. He gritted her teeth, 'she escaped?'

Claude raised his head, his cold jeweled eyes staring back at the nobles just standing here, frozen. Even Jennette was quiet, unable to come to her father.

"Find her," his cold voice ordered causing everybody to flinch in the room. His aura menacing, as if seeking a bloodbath.

The girl opened her eyes, then realizing she was nowhere in the palace. Had she somehow...escaped? Her magic crackled as realization had hit her, catching the attention of the commons in town. A group of guards seen from afar, "find the girl!" deciding whether to flee or not she made her choice.

If there is a chance to avoid death, she'll take it. Hurriedly on her feet she ran through the crowds of commoners as her golden hair flowed. The sky however, was grey. And it had already begun to pour, making her drenched.

But still, she ran. "There she is, get her!" a guard exclaimed, they were quick on their feet, already catching up to the girl. She was exhausted, and tired.

Athanasia spun back looking at the guards, then turning back continuing her run. It was just like a wild goose chase. Both Athanasia and the guards were persistent. The guards wanted to keep their head attached to their body, while the girl just didn't want to die by the hands of her own blood related father.

But was he really a father if he wanted to kill her?

No I won't die that easily. But deep inside, she was panicking. Continuing her run, it began to become more quiet. Why does it sound so peaceful now?

She paused, then looking towards her was a forest. The girl looked behind then back at the forest. They can't possibly chase me all the way here. Heading towards the forest, the girl could have swore that she felt a shock making contact with her skin. But nevertheless, Athanasia just brushed it off, paying no mind to the sudden shock. Entering the forest, she took notice of its beauty. At the same time, it was suffocating, as if there is some kind of pressure upon her. Still, she continued to move forward, ignoring the suffocating pressure completely. Walking further and further into the forest, she came to an abrupt pause. Realizing that she was now lost. Without a care she slumped back on the tree, the girl was too exhausted to think clearly. Anywhere was better than being in the empire. It was peaceful and quiet, just how she likes it. Closing her eyes, Athanasia just doesn't want to be woken up. Rusting in the bushes was a girl that seemed to be a child, she raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Someone managed to get here?"

Why is it so warm and cozy all of a sudden, who knew sleeping in a forest would be like this. Athanasia smiled as she was still asleep, while the mint haired girl had taken notice of her expression changing. "Are you awake now," the mind haired girl spoke. Her voice however, was that of something unfamiliar to Athanasia. 'Whos voice does this belong to', the golden haired girl questioned in her mind. She, however, felt something cold touch her cheek. She opened her eyes, and right by her side was a girl that seemed to be a child perhaps. "Where am I?" Athanasia questioned, the mint haired girl smiled. "I happened to come across you in the forest," Athanasia's eyes widened, "thank you very much!" The mint haired girl smile then fell into a frown. "What could have caused you to end up here, princess?" Her jeweled eyes then darkened as she remained silent. Her hands clenched onto the blanket in which she was covered with, while her dress was still quite dirty. They had still stared into each other's eyes, one waiting for an answer, while the other had not yet to respond. "Execution," Athanasia murmured but quiet enough for the other girl to hear. "So that's why there were guards outside the forest!" The mint haired girl exclaimed. She looked over at the princess, still seeing her mana seep from her fingertips. It was overwhelming, never in her life had she seen such an amount of mana within a person or thing. It was truly a sight to behold. "Do not fret princess, we don't belong to the empire."

Her reassurance had seemed to calm down the princess, noticing how her expression had changed to that of a more relaxed one. The mint haired girl then clasped her hands together, a smile on her face. "Since it seems you'll be staying here, you may just address me as Dandi!" Athanasia looked at the shorter girl, her jeweled eyes brimming with hope.

"I...am welcomed to stay here?" Dandi still smiled, her aura giving off a welcoming feeling, one that makes one safe. "Of course princess!" A slight smile crept onto the golden haired girl's face, "just call me Athanasia."
