Monday morning, sadly, always comes around. No matter how much fun the weekend was. For, all good things must come to an end one way or another. So, I find myself getting ready for another day at school. My brow furrows as I pack my books into my dark grey backpack with white stripes. I wonder what the day will bring. What Paris will do. But I can't dwell on that much longer. I have to get Percy up so he actually gets to school.
I fast-walk over to Percy's room, and on the way hear simultaneous groaning coming from Leo, Thalia, and Frank's rooms. I chuckle softly to myself, and open Percy's wooden door to see him, still drooling, on the ocean blue bed accenting his closed sea green eyes.
I walk over to his desk, and start putting in all of his books and papers and such. I stuff in an extra sweatshirt, because you know Percy, and slowly walk over to his bed. I touch his shoulder and he snuffs a little.
"Percy," I whisper. He barely moves.
"Seaweed Brain," I whisper again, slightly louder this time. His mouth twitches, which is a giveaway.
"Well, I guess I COULD just leave him here, and go to school all by myself, having So much fun, without Percy. And have tons of blue cookies that I baked just yesterday evening without even offering one to him. And the blue pancakes that Sally brought? All mine. Oh, and-" I am cut off by a low moan.
"Fine, I get it, I get it! I'm getting up." He throws back the covers, and I giggle a little.
"See you in five!" I say cheerily. I walk out of his room, and put his promised blue pancakes on a plate. I check the clock, and roll my eyes. I walk back to Percy's room, and see him sleeping, while fully dressed for school, on top of his unmade bed.
"Percy!" I yell. "Pancakes are in the kitchen!" At this he jumps out of his bed, and bolts into the kitchen.
I am almost finished making his bed, when I hear muffled yelling. I quickly finish the bed, grab both his and my backpack, and walk into the kitchen. There I see Percy yelling at Thalia, with am empty plate with a few crumbs in the middle of them. Thalia is holding her hands up in surrender, but a ghost of a smile on her face.
"Thalia ate my pancakes!" Percy whines to me. I roll my eyes, give Percy a knowing look, and stroll over to the huge fridge. I open the door to find a whole new plate of blue pancakes, that I had stuffed in the fridge last night in anticipation that this dilemma would happen. I pop them in the microwave for 20 seconds, and Percy rolls his eyes at my wisdom of the future. He gives me a quick peck, but we are so rudely interrupted by the pancake thief,
"Ergh! No PDA in the kitchen!" Thalia says, and I roll my eyes in response. You find that I roll my eyes a lot with the two people in this room, plus one specific son of Hephaestus snoring quite loudly in his room, completely ignoring his loudly beeping alarm.
Percy snarfs down the rest of his pancakes, a new record, I think. He grabs his denim backpack, swings it over his broad shoulder, and we hurry out the door, facing the music of the new day.
A/N Hey Wattpadians! Sorry for the short chapter. More updates soon, I promise! Swear on the River Styx! Wow, I really AM living dangerously. Kay, well I better get writing before I get blasted to bits by unhappy gods. Stay safe! Luv yall!
