Annabeth's POV

I walk into my cabin and grab the suitcase under my bed. I start folding clothes and stuffing them in it. I put my laptop, my Yankees cap, a camp shirt, and a picture of Percy and me that Hazel drew. I close my suitcase and tighten my ponytail. I change into one of Percy's sweatshirts and jean shorts. I hug Malcolm goodbye, grab my suitcase, and walk out the door.

I go and get everyone from their cabins. Jason, Leo, Calypso, Thalia, and Piper are already waiting for us at the car. I grab Frank and Hazel from their cabins and we run across the strawberry field to get into the van. Argus is at the front, and there are 4 rows with 2 seats in each. Leo sits with Calypso, Jason sits with Piper, Hazel sits with Frank and I sit with Thalia. I feel another pang, that everyone is sitting with their beau, and I am sitting here with my friend. I think Thalia is awesome, but honestly, I'd rather be sitting with Percy.

I will be with him soon. That's all I can think about. Until Argus stops in front of the empire state building. It seems to stretch on forever, and I know personally that it does.

"295th floor, don't worry. While you are here the Gods have placed a blessing over wherever you will be to make sure no monsters come." Argus says abruptly. I gape. I have never heard Argus speak before. He has a high voice, and actually barely moves his lips when he talks.

I grab my suitcase and go into the lobby. We go to the reception desk and ask for the 295th floor.

"No such thing." She says, not even looking up. I take a breath and whisper,

"You really want eight demigods waiting in the lobby, monsters probably waiting in every corner?" She keeps looking at her computer but hands me nine security cards.

"Nine?" Piper asks.

"Another young man is going to be joining you. I was alerted that eight demigods were coming to live here, but I always make sure that you are actually who you say." She says. I raise my eyebrows. She sure is serious about her job.

We get in the elevator, and I slip one of the cards in the little slot. A button shows up, and I press it. Suddenly, the elevator jerks up and we all scramble for the railing. Well, except for Thalia, who wasn't fast enough and ended up on the floor. She mutters and dusts herself off. The doors open, and we all gape. There is a big living room in the middle, with a huge tv and in each of the cabinets a different cool gadgets. Wii, Xbox, and so much more!

There is a big kitchen too, all in beige stone and white marble. There is a big wooden table in between the living room and kitchen. There is a big plate of fruit on it, and a lazy susan with all condiments.

I go down a hallway, and that leads to three different corridors. One says 'Girls,' One says 'Boys,' and the last one says game room. I walk through the hallway that says 'Girls,' and gasp. There are five doors, each with names with a different font on it. Mine says Annabeth in cursive, but kind of casual cursive, not the fancy kind. I walk into my room and gasp.

The pictures above the bed are replaced with Percy and her, and there is a desk next to her bed. When you go up the ladder, there is a dresser and another desk.

I love it. I unpack my suitcase into my dresser and put my laptop on the desk at the landing. There is a bathroom, and it is all white tile and marble. I flop onto my bed. I can't wait until tomorrow. I will get to see Percy.

My alarm clock rings, and I swat at it. Wait! I want to get out of bed! I remind myself. A smile overtakes my face and I climb up my ladder to pick out an outfit. Hmm. I end up with a black tank top, a grey sweater, jeans, and black sneakers.

Once Leo and Thalia are out of bed, we get down to the first floor and see two cars waiting for us. I claim the white Mercedes Benz, and all of the girls get in. Te boys climb in the red truck. I thank the gods for this car, just to make sure they know I am thankful.

<time skip to when they pull into school>

I back into a parking space near the entrance, and am kind of amazed at the architecture of this place. It is all beige stone and has big oak doors at the front. We all walk in, and I see my Seaweed Brain looking at a picture of us trying to convince his friends that the girl in the photo (me) is real.

"Good photoshopping, dude."

"You're gonna need to teach me that sometime." His friends say.

"But she IS real," Percy says. I smile and run up to him. His back is turned to me and I poke his Achilles spot and he stiffens. Before he can turn around though, I whisper in his ear,

"Seaweed Brain," He immediately whips around and picks me up. He twirls me around and I laugh. He puts me down and I gaze into his beautiful sea green eyes.

"Anna-how-what-" I kiss him. He smiles and turns to his friends.

"See, I TOLD YOU she was real." He says proudly. I turn my head around and Hazel, Frank, Piper, Jason, Leo, Calypso, and Thalia all come running toward him. He turns back around and his jaw drops. "How're you guys here?" He asks.

"The Gods have spoken," Leo says, in a falsetto. Percy hugs each of them, but I realize that he just gives Calypso a side hug.

"Perce, who are these people?"His friends ask. I answer,

"Leo, Calypso, Jason, Piper, Hazel, Frank, Thalia, and I'm Annabeth. We all know each other from camp." I point to each of them in return. They all gape.

I have a feeling this is going to be the best year of my life.
