Poppyflash was sniffing the undergrowth, his mouth gapping as he let the sweet smell of the forest float into his mouth. The tall black tom instantly dropped into a crouch as the sweet and savoring scent of a water shrew hit his tongue. He hadn't quite seen visual until the tiny brown head popped up between rocks by the sinking marsh. A smirk crossed his lips as he slowly stalked forward, ready to pounce but his feet didn't seem to correlate with his head, his back paws kicked off but his front paws slipped under his chest, in turn he went nose deep into the slimy earth. /Mouse-dung!/ he hissed to himself, he growled lowly and sat up, his sleek fur now covered and a greenish-brown mud and he stomped away, prey less.
