Little Things (Niall Horan-Completed)

OH, ANNA

NIALL'S POV

While waiting for the lads, Anna fell asleep leaning on my chest. She's so peaceful and beautiful. I know she's suffering and having a hard time but still, she's strong enough to wear a smile. And that's what I love about her. While I'm playing and enjoying the dark brown hair of my beloved, she's coughing hardly and I could say that she's barely breathing. And then I saw my blue polo stained with blood. Where does the blood came from? I look at Anna and saw her mouth spitting a blood. I panic and didn't know what to do.

Niall: Anna? Hey, babe. Anna! Oh shit. Help! Somebody help! Nurse! Doctor!

She's not answering.

No one's answering and I bet no one heard my scream. Her eyes are still closed. Her nose is starting to bleed also. I grabbed my phone and call Harry's roaming number.

Niall: Come on Harry pick it up!

Harry: Yeah? Who's this?

Niall: Oh thank goodness, Harry is that you?

Harry: Yeah. Who's this?

Niall: Harry, Niall here. Where are you? Something's not right... Anna... please... Come quickly!

Harry: What's wrong? We're two blocks away buddy. We'll be there in a sec.

My voice is shaking obviously. I heard Liam, Zayn and Louis asking what's going on. I dropped the call. Now I'm crying. I can't leave Anna alone to call out there. I can't do anything.

Niall: Anna? Anna! Anna talk to me, do you hear me? ANNA!!!

No answer.

But she look at me, very weak.

Still coughing....

Cough...

Cough...

Bleed....

Cough...

Bleed...

Bleed...

Niall: ANNA!!! Please...

Anna: Ni-

She's trying to communicate but she can't. She kept on coughing and then she throw up a lot of blood.

Niall: ANNA! ANNA!!!

Liam: Niall?

Niall: Help.

Louis: Oh shit.

Zayn: Louis! Call somebody out there!

Harry: Anna! Anna, can you hear us??

Liam: Oh my god. Anna hold on!!

A doctor and two nurses entered the room with Louis.

Liam gave me a bro hug. Zayn is quiet and looking furious. Harry and Louis in in shock and I am still crying silently, worried for my girlfriend.

After 3 minutes.

Harry: What just happened?

Dr. Galvez: Don't worry too much. It's kinda natural. It's a symptom.

Zayn: Natural? What so natural about that? She's dying and there's nothing good about it!

Louis: Hey Zayn, calm down.

Zayn: We're losing her, Louis. Niall...

Zayn started to cry. I hug him.

Dr. Galvez: Sorry. Just wait for her to wake up and you can talk to her with this.

Liam: Thank you.

Louis: What the hell just happened to her, Nialler?

I wiped my tears, trying to answer Louis.

Niall: She's asleep and then suddenly she's started to cough hard. And then I saw a blood on my shirt where her head leaned on. And when I look at her, I saw her, so bloody and I panicked. I called Harry cos he's the only one with roaming number and then I started screaming, calling for help but no one could hear me until you came.

Liam: Niall, you need to know something.

Niall: What is it?

Liam: Zayn?

Zayn: The doctor told us that Anna has 1 year left to...to live.

Niall: That's rubbish. That's not true.

Liam: Truth hurts Niall. Sorry. We're so sorry.

SORROW. The only emotion I felt when I heard those words from Zayn and Liam. I feel weak. This can't be.

Niall: Is there any other way?

They shook their heads, all bowed.

Anna: You guys cheer up.

We're all surprised when we hear Anna speak. She's awake! I move closer to her.

Niall: Are you now alright?

 She nodded with a smile.

Anna: Now you know all about my illness, please do me a favor. Continue your job and we can keep in touch. You don't really need to worry you know? I don't wanna see you guys crying cos it hurts so much more than my illness. Liam, Harry, Louis, Zayn and Niall... I'm so sorry if I was a big mess for you.. I promise I'll be strong... This is nothing...

Before she start crying, I grabbed her and kissed her forehead. The lads come near us and gave us a group hug.

Liam: Oh Anna, just get well.

Anna: Don't make me cry again okay? I'm sick of it.

Louis: Just smile sweetcake.

Harry: Yeah. Have fun! We have two more days.

Zayn: Get up there and let's go!

Anna: Better. Let's go!

Niall: You sure?

She smiled. I see the light within her face.

Anna: Of course.

She smiled sweetly again and kissed my lips. I smiled also and kissed her back.
