Kara's pov
I arrived from my trip. And Lena seemed off, but I don't know why. But then I knew why, I heard another heartbeat. I was hurt, but I couldn't put my suspicions yet. "Sorry Lee, need to go. The DEO needs me." I faked an emergency.I can't be here or I might melt someone's face off.
"Didn't the DEO give you the day off?" I had to come up with something quick! "Yeah, but I wanted to go test a my new training room." That wasn't a lie, I did get a new training room, since mine got wrecked. Lena just nodded, showing no love in her eyes nor any emotion...Has she fallen out of love?
So I flew off and stopped. I was a few kilometers away from where I live and listened:
"Is she gone?"
"Yeah she is. That was close, thank God I built that sound proof closet."
"So wanna continue where we left off last night?"
"Oh yes Ava definitely."
My heart shattered into billion pieces, I can't believe she cheated. Huh...sound proof closet my ass, Lena. I felt this rage grow in me and I knew it will not end well. I need Alex. I listened closely for Alex's heartbeat and found her, she was at home. I flew as quick as possible, probably braking the sound barrier.
"A-Alex?" I was sobbing and barely could build a sentence.
"Kara, oh my God! What happened." She just hugged me and I hugged her back tightly. I couldn't form a word, so Alex brought me to the couch and tried to comfort me. My sobbing stopped and I was able to breath normal.
"What happened?" My sister asked. I just stared to the ground for a few seconds and built up my courage. "She cheated..."
