Kara's pov

Today is our two year anniversary, well basically five year anniversary. Since Lena and I started our relationship again, my trust to her has gotten much better and she has been more honest ever since and I....Well I couldn't be happier.

I was at home, well the beach house I bought two years ago and prepared our date. I want it to be special, because today will be the day I chose to spend the rest of my life with the woman I truly love. I forgive Lena and all make mistakes...Everybody deserves a second chance.

While waiting for her I was fiddling with the velvet box in my suit pocket. It's a funny story actually...About seven months ago I was cleaning Lena's lab since it looked a mess and found the engagement ring that I shattered into pieces. She was really trying to fix it, so I took it and fixed it myself...Well with Kryptonian technology, because this is the perfect ring.

I checked the time and noticed she would be home by know. I got worried quickly, but I got calmed when I heard her car pull up. I fixed myself with superspeed and waited at the front door with roses.

"I'm home! Sorry that I'm late there was traffic-." Lena stood still on her tracks and looked at me with love. "Hey babe...I'm happy to see you too."

I walked over to her and she instantly attacked me with her soft, red lips. "Hey love, thank you for those roses and happy anniversary." That smile! Ugh that beautiful smile!

"Happy anniversary too babe." I say softly and kiss her again. I grabbed her stuff, super sped around the house to put them in our bedroom and then took her hand and led her to the terrace, where everything was set up.

I hear her gasp and she hugged me tightly. "It's amazing love and you look absolutely stunning in your deep blue suit." I smile and kiss her with passion. "All for you babe. And you look beautiful, well you are always beautiful." I say with love and see her blush.

We ate and talked about work and how everything started. After eating we talked again, while I kept on gazing at her. Rao this woman will be the death of me. I was building up my courage to ask the big question...

"Lena..." I got her full attention, so I got on one knee and took out the box. I see her smile and tear up. "Lena we have gone through a lot of stuff and even though we had to fight for our relationship, for our love...We have always fond each other over and over again. I knew since day one, that your are the woman I want to spend my life with you.I never cared about your name, all I care is about Lena...The woman I fall in love with everyday. Two years ago was our most challenging phase, but we worked it out. I forgive you Lena and you deserve a second chance, because you have proved me everyday that you truly love me. And here I am to prove that I want you by my side, till death do us apart. Lena Luthor...Will you marry me?"

I see her crying and mostly when she saw the ring. "Of course it's a Yes!" Lena said and kissed me with passion. When we broke the kiss, I slid the ring on her finger and we both smiled like idiot's.

"Love is that the ring-." She wanted to ask but I interrupted her. "Yes babe that's the ring I shattered into pieces, but I fixed it, because it was just perfect for you." I say softly and kiss her again.

"I love you Kara Zoe-El Luthor-Danvers." Lena said to me softly and looked at me with pure love in her eyes.

I smile and give her the same eyes she deserves. "I love you too, Lena Luthor-Danvers." And we kissed again this time a little more passion, that will surely drift to something more. And I can't wait to marry this incredible woman one day.

Everybody deserves a second chance in life, despite their mistakes. We all make mistakes and there is no such thing as 'perfect'. If you truly love the person, you would give a second chance, because then you know it's worth it.
