We went out around 7 pm; I wanted the night to be perfect for her. I was going to propose her tonight, I had been waiting for this moment for so long; she is the one and only.
We started walking on the beach,
“Close your eyes,” I said
“Seriously?” she asked
“Trust, I got you,” I said and held his waist
“Am I going to close my eyes for how long?” she asked
“Be patient babe,” I replied
We arrived where our family and friends are; I wanted everyone to be here when I asked her to marry me.
I let go of her hands and bent down on my knee
Elsa POV
I did not know what was going on; my mind was full of thoughts. Bill had been acting weird since last week.
“Open your eyes,”
I immediately raised my eyes on people that I love the most (Family and friends), I was excited enough to the extent that I did not realize he was on his knee.
I turned back to asked him what all these people was doing here and it took about three seconds to realize he was on one knee.
“Bill,” was all I could said, he held my left hand
“Elsa, I feel blessed to have such amazing, kind, loving and caring women like you. I loved you from the first time I saw you, we have passed through a lot together and nothing could keep us apart. I knew you were the one since the beginning, the one I wanted to grow old with, Elsa in front of our family and friends. Will you do me the honor of being my wife and make me the happiest man in the world?” I wipe my tears and take deep breath
“Yes,” he slowly stands up and lifted me in his arms and spun me around
“Said it again,” he asked and set me down
“Yes,” he slowly slid the most beautiful diamond ring onto my finger; I could not waste more time. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kiss him like never before.
He kissed me back with passion; we did not care about people around us.
“I love you so much!” he said
“I love you too!” I replied and hear applause from other side
“That is why everyone around me have been acting weird,” I slap his shoulder in playfully way
We approached them and everyone pulled us into hug and whispering of congratulations in our ears.
He wrapped his hands around my eyes again; head me back to our house
“There is still more surprise Love!” he said
“Oh my God!” it is all I managed to say
“Tada!” I froze for a moment to see such wonderful surprise; the living room filled with my favorite flowers and pictures of us since my mother’s Funeral.
“Oh Bill that is awesome, I do not know how I can thank you for always be a great partner everyone can ever wish for,” I said with amusement
“You know how to thank me actually,” he said with smile
“Are you out of your mind babe?”
“You are mine now, whether you like it or not,” he claimed
“Not yet Babe,” I slap his hands playfully
“Cheers to the new beginning of Bill and Elsa,” we raise our glasses of champagne
“Hello everyone! Food is ready, help yourself” Jade said and head to the table
“We are happy to have you to our family Elsa,” Bill’s father said
“I cannot wait to have grandchildren,” his father
mentions about the baby and we laughed
“Dad,” he said
“Think about it daughter,” he said pointing at me and I nod
When his dad left, we laughed at his words
“Your Dad is cool,” I said
“He meant it Elsa, he always wanted grandbabies. He old and tired,” he said with tears in his eyes
“What is wrong Babe?” I asked holding his hand
“I wish they were here,” he said and I pulled him into hug
“So am I,” I reply
The whole night was about celebrating our new beginning, I was tired but I could not leave my people to sleep.
