-Aley Point of View-Chaos... Chaos was the right word to describe the village's situation right now. Everything.... Everything was a disaster. A disaster that was beyond my imaginations. I never thought that i would got the chance to see such catastrophe in my life.
My eyes stared at the surrounding. Looking at my destroyed village with terror. Most of the houses and buildings were already crumbled on the ground. The remaining buildings were engulfed in the wild fire, waiting to crumble along with the other buildings. The fire mercilessly burned the houses into ashes and some of then were , got burned by the fire as well.
Screams of the villagers that were still alive filled my ears. Few of them who still can move, ran around the village, trying to find a place safe enough to hide. While those who were less fortunate, hopelessly glued to their spot, completely immobilized due to their injuries. They could only waited for the death to embrace them, knowing the fact that they have no chance on surviving through this.
Dead bodies scattered around the ground with stab wounds on their body. It was obvious that they were killed. Brutally.
How could this happened was beyond my knowledge. I was out to find more herbs in the forest and when i returned, everything was already this chaotic.
I quickly ran in the midst of the terror towards my house while silently hope that my family was fine.
Mother....Elaine....Son... Please be safe.
After what felt like hours, i finally arrived in front of my house. My heart beated wildly in my chest as i stared at the scene infront of me. My house... The place where i grew up was now... crumbled on the ground. I bitted my lips in despair as i scanned through the area trying to find any sign of life. That's when something caught my eyes. Under the pile of woods, i saw an arm sticking out. I gulped in fear as i walked closer to it.
*Gasp* I recognized that arm. That arm was belongs to a woman that took care of me since i was a baby. The woman that fed me, love me and care for me. I shakily kneel down as i removed the piled of woods off of the figure. Tears threatened to fall from my eyes as i shakily removed the last wood. What i saw underneath it made me bursted into tears as a pained shout escaped from my lips.
"Mama!!!!" I hugged my mother's lifeless body tightly as i cried heavily. I kept on calling her, hoping that she would answer me just like how she used to. Thus, i knew that it was impossible. Her body felt so cold as i hugged her close to my chest. She always gave me warm hugs before but now... not anymore.
"A-Aley...?" Suddenly i heard a weak soft voice called me. My head snapped to my side, looking at the source of the voice that called me. My eyes widened as i removed myself from my mother gently before quickly went over towards the voice's owner.
There lied on the ground was the woman i love with my whole heart. My beloved wife, Elaine. She was bleeding heavily on her stomach. I gasped as i kneel beside her. I gently placed her head on my lap, afraid of hurting her more than she was in now. Now i can saw her stomach clearly, there was a stab wound on her stomach. Judged by the wound, she was stabbed by a sword.
D-did someone stabbed her? B-but who..? Was it the rumoured killer? Harming a pregnant woman... This is cruel...
"Aley...."
