Do you want to exercise your writing skills and get some clout to put on the description of your story? Well, now's your chance - The Detective Who Never Dies is a short story contest that is hosted by the Literary Knights.
If you want to submit your work into the contest please follow the following rules/requirements.
• Write a short story about a hard hitting, loose canon, of a noir style detective or private eye in the 1930s
• It must be between 500 - 1,000 words
• you can either submit it by commenting it below, or messaging the Literary Knights your story over Wattpad
• the contest starts (June 4th, 2020) and the contest ends (July 1st, 2020)
After that, depending on how many stories have been submitted, the judges (MrMcbear and rcb2003) will take from one to two weeks to review the stories and decide on a winner.
The rewards are -
First Place:
1. You will receive a fancy little sticker to put on your story
2. (If you would like) you would be heavily considered to join the Literary Knights
3. Your story would get hecka clout
4. Your story would be shouted out by the Literary Knights
5. Your story (if you would like) would be made into an audio story and published
6. (Optional) You will be interviewed by the club president and it will be featured in a later update chapter
Second Place:
1. Clout, obviously
2. Your story would be shouted out by the Literary Knights
3. (Optional) You will be interviewed by the club president and it will be featured in a later update chapter
Third Place:
1. Clout
2. Shouted out by the Literary Knights
