Trey eyed his opponents-the wolf, the leopard, the rhinoceros and the panther. He looked down and saw that he was a bear.
"Bloody hell! What happened to my body?" "We transferred your soul. Did you think we'll make you fight without any weapons?,"said Damien.
"Yeah. Why are you still apparitions if you can transfer souls?" he asked.
"It only works on the dead. Everything here is gold.We can't touch anything so we can't sprinkle water."
"Okay. So if I win, the prizes are mine."
"And if I lose?" He asked.
"You die" said Laura smirking.
"You didn't tell this before." "Too late to back out now," she said.
"Let the battle commence," shouted Damien.
The wolf and the rhino attacked him at same time.
Trey dodged the rhino and dug his claws deep into the wolf's hide. The wolf gave a pitiful whimper and slumped in his hands. He slammed the carcass into the rhino and then threw the corpse away.
As the rhino charged at him again, Trey moved aside and it banged its head against the wall. However, his left side was injured and started bleeding.
"Fucking rhino! Damn him to hell" he muttered.
While it was disorientated, he sneaked a peek at the leopard and the panther. The panther seemed to be winning.
But why are they fighting each other instead of me? he thought. Just then the rhino came charging at him.
"Let's finish this once and for all"
Avoiding the horn, he aimed a punch at the hindleg. The rhino crumpled to the ground. He slashed at its neck and blood started pouring out. With a roar, he gripped its neck in a tightlock.
The rhino started thrashing but he didn't loosen his grip for a whole minute. After being sure that it was dead, he turned his attention to the last two.
Suprisingly, the panther was lying dead within a pool of blood . Although the leopard had won it was lying on the ground, panting. Its body was decorated with cuts which were bleeding profusely.
He walked towards it. The leopard tried to lift itself but he grabbed its head and twisted it.
All others were dead.
He had won.
