Chapter 10

Y/n POV

My mind was trying to come up with an excuse, then I got an excuse ,"I went to store to get snacks", I said nervously.

"Oh really, where are the snacks?", Asked a suspicious Jennie unnie. "The store was closed do I returned soon", I said straight forward so they can believe me.

"Ok then", Rosé unnie said still suspicious. "We brought you dinner", Lisa unnie said. I nodded, we ate at silence until Jisoo unnie who was silent whole time spoke.

"Try to come up with better lies, these don't work on us. I won't be happy if this happened again", she said while making me shook. We finished eating then I went to my room and closed the door.

I lied on my bed, how can they find out the truth so easily? Are they detectives in past life or something. I laughed to myself. Atleast they don't know I went to work. Then I got a call, it was Mark.

I picked it up "Hey", I said. "Hello, how are you?", He asked in a concerned voice. I just hummed in return. "So again a date tomorrow?", he asked jokingly. I said very quickly ,"Yup". I heard him chuckle "I didn't know it is this easy".

"You sound like you wanna kidnap me", I said chuckling in return. But after that the phone call got cut. Maybe signal problem? It was already late so I bother him by calling again and I went to sleep.

Mark pov

"You sound like wanna kidnap me", she said chuckling. In a hint of regret I cut the phone. Why is this hard? I don't wanna play with someone's feelings but I want to do this only in safe of my friends.

I understand why they wanted me to get close to y/n cause she is in a lot of protection by her unnies and they wanted Y/n to get some time alone. In this thoughts I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.

Wooyoung pov

Once again my brain stuck in thoughts of y/n, the incident about her father still confuses me. It wasn't me, then who? This night has lot to go through I went to the living room to see Yeosang and San sitting there talking about something.

"You guys still not asleep?", I asked them confused. They shook their head. "What are you both talking about?", I asked them. "About Y/n, seonghwa hyung said the plan is almost done", San said.

I nodded at them "Any news about Y/n's dad's body?", I questioned them. "Y/n's unnie's increased her protection and even two of them went out to investigate this news", yeosang said.

"Who are they to investigate? Why didn't they go to police? How can they think that they'll be protect y/n?", I asked a bunch of questions. "I don't know anything else but y/n is not safe at this condition, sending mark was a good option", San said while Yeosang nodded.

Y/n should be safe and secure and must be. I don't know who has vengeance against her but all cause I will protect her. But in the case of her unnies it is suspicious, they must be freaking out about y/n now.

They still go to work as usual after going after staying with y/n for few days. How can they handle this? They get suspicious very soon, I almost get caught by them in hospital while looking at y/n.

I was never in that stage before, as a mafia I never been this close of getting caught. They are not normal citizens I can sense it from. Who are they? Could they cause danger to y/n?

Then yeosang's voice cut my thoughts ,"Woo, can you hear us or not? We are gonna sleep, we have work in morning, go sleep", he said. I nodded at him and said ,"Good night". I watched them leave.

But for me this won't be a easy night, I must find out more about Y/n' unnies here after. I called one of my mam and told them to follow them closely without without getting caught. After that I went to my room.

(Time skips)
I woke up on chair, thinking About Y/n I fell asleep, then u heard a knock on my door. "Who is that?", I asked annoyed.

"It's me jongho, Hongjoong hyung asked me to see if you are ready", he said. I cursed under my breath and said to him ,"Just 15 minutes". I heard him walk away.

I got ready and went out to see all the other 7 to talking about something. "You're late again", I heard Yunho say with Mingi nodding in agreement. "Let's just go now then". They nodded and we all left to our mission.
