Hawks woke groggily in his bed, hidden at the top of his own internship building, which was honestly more of a house. He ran a hand through his messy hair and sighed. Those villains, they really don't mess around...he thought, rubbing his tired eyes with the back of his hands. "Not that they should, they're villains after all." He realized his own voice sounded scratchy and tired and he laid his head back down on the pillow. His mind wandered to the people he had met the previous day; there was Twice, who really wasn't all that bad. There was the leader, Tomura, who Hawks knew would probably be hard to be around. Very suspicious, that young villain. Then there was Dabi. Hawks gritted his teeth and shook his head at the remembrance of the flame villain. "Annoying jerk, that's what he is." Hawks muttered.

Suddenly his phone began vibrating next to him on his nightstand. "Crap," he grumbled, grabbing the electronic. His face whitened at the voice that spoke. "Hey there, birdie." Dabi got my number somehow, huh? Hawks thought with an irritated glare at the floor. He managed to force a smile, however, so he sounded like his normal cheerful self. "If it isn't my good friend Dabi. What's going on?" The winged bird male asked. "Nothing, really." Dabi replied through the phone. "Heh, that's not like you. You normally have something to make my life shit." Dabi snorted. "Well, you haven't known me that long now have you?" Hawks shrugged, then remembered Dabi wasn't really there to see that. "Guess not." He answered. "Meet me outside the hideout." With a sudden pause, Dabi hung up and Hawks looked at the phone in confusion.

"What does he want...?" Hawks murmured. Getting up, he got a shower and got dressed; a black leather jacket over a white t-shirt, with blue jeans and black tennis shoes. His bright maroon wings clashed dangerously with the black of his clothes, but he shrugged it off as he looked at his complexion in the mirror. He didn't really look that bad in dark colors, he realized. Heading to the kitchen he prepared some coffee and headed down the long wind of stairs that eventually led to the final floor and the door out. He could've just flown off the top floor, which would have been quicker, but Hawks decided it would bring too much attention. Flipping up his black hood Hawks left the building and quickly ran into the shadow of the alleyway.

He couldn't risk someone finding out about his double life that was basically forced on him, or else his life could possibly end up in a whole lot of danger.
