"Fuck!"
He ran across the street as soon as the pedestrian light turned green, not minding the looks he's getting from the people around him.
"No no no..." He murmured to himself as he stared at his watch, counting every passing second in his head as he rushed his steps.
"Fucking alarm clock!" He groaned, feeling short of breath as he dashed through the crowd.
He had kept in mind to discard his useless alarm clock as soon as he steps home later after class.
It's Monday morning and the street was busy with all kinds of people heading to work or school just like him.
"Excuse me!" He uttered at the top of his lungs, almost shoving the people getting in his way.
It would be such a pain in the ass if he'll be late again.
He's always like this every morning, but he never seemed to learn his lessons.
He would sleep late in the evening and regret it in the morning when he couldn't bring himself to go out of bed in time for school.
Same routine, same outcome.
His unruly brunette locks danced with the wind as he approached closer to his destination.
The sight of the huge open gates made his heart beat in relief as he fastened his pace.
However, his happiness was short lived when the guard began closing the gates just in time for the ringing of the clock tower, signalling that it's already time for the first class.
"Shit! Shit!" He cursed under his breath, placing all his strength on his limbs as he dashed across the street.
"Wait! Don't close it yet!" He called out in panic, hoping against all hopes that the guard will hear his plea just this once.
His desperation kicked in, too late to even react when he tripped and clashed to the woman who suddenly appeared from the intersection.
"Fuck!" He groaned as he fell down to the ground only to spring back up on his feet as if nothing happened.
He didn't spare a glance on the woman who began spouting expletives as her things were scattered on the floor.
"Watch where you're going, brat!" The woman bellowed, but he couldn't care less as he uttered a quick 'sorry' before running away.
He gripped his backpack tightly as he finally touched the golden metallic gates with his hand, stopping it from closing.
"Wait!" He huffed for air, feeling so tired early in the morning.
"Mister! Please let me in!" He begged, sliding his right leg in the narrow space between the closing gates.
"I'm not late! See? I arrived just in time. Please mister!" He begged, trying to make his charm work as the guard stared at him with an exasperated look on his face.
"You again? When will you ever learn your lesson?" The guard sighed, shaking his head at the sight of the brunet.
"I'm not late this time! Please mister!" He batted his eyes cutely, trying to win the guard over.
"Just this once, please? I promise I'll go to school early tomorrow. Please?" He pressed his hands together, pleading the older male who just sighed.
"This is the last time, Kim." The guard said which instantly made the brunet's face light up.
"Thank you! Thank you!" He smiled, his adorable boxy smile lights his face as the gates opened widely for him.
"You're such a good man, mister! Thank you!" He beamed to which the latter just shakes his head.
